Changing the Minipet item type

Hello!

Now that we are able to show off our beloved minipets even in town, I had an idea to possibly make them more fun.

The idea is to change the item type of all minipets from 'usable' to 'equippable'. This would require a new item slot in the inventory panel, a minipet slot, which would allow your character to equip a minipet. As long as you'd keep your minipet in this slot, it'd remain visible. So it'd not require you to 're-use' your favourite minipet every time you change level.

This would be most fun if you could show minipets in town unrestrictedly. But it's also possible to realize with the current restriction of 20 minipets per district, as the game would only show the minipets of maximally 20 players, even others have minipets equipped. Of whose minipets would show in a near-full district would be determined eighter randomly or by some other method.

So what do you guys think of this?

Equip able minipets have been suggested a million times before,
you however get away with it since the resent minipets in cities changes the mechanics.
On that the check for minipets to show or not show, be it random or not would require a notify for all players (that have a minipet equipped) when someone who's minipet is shown leaves the area. This causes more useless lag, though the showing of them in cities still causes more.

I think simply adding an option to "Take out this mini-pet whenever possible" would be good, and probably simpler than rearranging the inventory window to add an extra slot. This is the main reason I never use the mini-pets. I love the damn things, but forget I have them whenever I enter an area.

But I definitely wouldn't be against a new inventory slot. Basically anything that allows me to show mini-pets without the use of my brain.

Remember the limit here you dont want ppl just running aound with their minis all the time. The ppl who accually want to double click the mini to take it out should have first pick imo . I know you kinda mentioned it but when the newness of pets in towns wears off it (imo) should be a thing you can take out once in a while to show EVERYONE in a district like a rank emote

I decided not to use Mini-Varesh at all as she was taking up a slot in my inventory when not out, and when I did take her out I was worried that I'd forget about her in an explorable area and lose her....

umm what are you talking about? they stay in your inventory . ..

v_v; ... I was too afraid of losing my Mini Varesh to even test that. I've made worse mistakes in the past.

Don't be a lazy bum and just double-click if you want to show off your pet. It's not hard to do and takes a second.
