Splitting the headgear into 2 items

It's a basic idea, but I didn't find anyone suggesting it.

With all these cool festival hats around, I'm sure many of us would be glad to be able to wear them in missions and explorable areas without the penalty of basically denying any bonuses offered by headgear.

My solution is simple: splitting the headgear inventory slot into 2 slots, one for the 'headgear attributes', the other for 'headgear appearance'. So this'd require armorers to sell (craft) the 'attribute' type of headgear, offering all the bonuses but no appearance. Another (or maybe the same) NPC would sell (or craft) headgear appearances, the ones that are specific to your profession (helms for warriors, scar patterns for necros, etc). So you could use your normal headgear including AL, insignia and rune, and still equip a tengu hat appearance, for example.

This solution could (but not required to) also replace the 'show headgear/don't show headgear' option, because when there's no appearance equipped, no appearance is showed.

this seems really really complacated but i believe you should have a *festival skin* option. where in without a festival hat put in that slot your headgear looks normal but if you put a hat there thats what it looks like. that would not require a compleate overhaul of the current armor crafting but would allow for players to use tehir festival hats.... but really imo festival hats are for fun and not used for serious gameplay... so really i do not think this should be implemented but i thought i wuold offer some helpful advice on how you could do your idea.
