Hahahah i ddint even know until recently that there are two types of serpent axes, a cantha one and a tyrian one. guess im happy i dont have the crappy kind, although it is customzied lol.

These are two of my newest toys:
I bought the Chaos Axe for 4k (unmodded) and the GotH unidentified for 7k. I bought another Chaos Axe from the same seller as the first one, which was +5 Energy with 20% enchants, and that also cost 4k.

Actually i belive your wrong. iirc theres the original tyrian version in maraxusofk's pic which fully dyes and the canthan version which only partly dyes. I also think the canthan version is slightly smaller but not 100% on that

@ MrSlayer: maraxusofk claimed that there are two skin versions of the Serpent Axe. I did Wiki it and it only lists one.
EDIT: Thanks for the info, pies of doom. I've seen a old school Tyrian and a newer Canthan and I believe they were the same size...didn't check the dye-ability of the Canthan tho.

 I have no idea what the value is. I got it in a drop while farming in the Desolation, and only kept it around because I like the axe skin.

its the same axe, only the bottom one is dyed black and the pic is zoomed out a bit.
theres only one serpant axe skin.

Same skin but serpent axes found in cantha do not completely dye, whereas the old serpent axes found in HoH dye fully. I was unsure if these 2 differed in size at all. I believe one of the old serpent axes was recently up for auction with a pic showing it dyed completely black?

My Warriors Weapons. Can't really compare them with a Req 3 Max Dmg Sygian Reaver with 25% damage always..Or something expensive like that. They've served me well, and Will continue to do so.

They both share the same name, but serpents that drop in noob isle factions (most of the 15^50 non insc being sold now) are a bit smaller and dye ONLY on the serpent symbol and a few small areas of the axe, rather than the whole axe. I've had both styles, and I continue to tell people about this. Its actually a problem, because people will spam "WTS req 9 15^50 serpent axe tyrian!" and it will be canthan, and not dyeable, etc. Plus, unlike the bigger version of the serpent mainly dropped in HoH b4 and after inscriptions, the cantha version is far more common. Just wanted to clear things up ^^.
