Why 20? I just realized the true conceptually beauty of it. Have you ever read a book, or watched a movie, and hated to finish it because you wanted the story to keep going?
Well I see it much the same in GW. If you reached max level after completing everything in the game, that would be it…nothing left …But as it is currently set up, you progress to level 20 and then you get to keep going. The story isn’t over.
How many other video games seem to end after you have built your guy to the peak of his game? Don’t you want to keep playing that uber character? Well in a way that’s what GW gives us. Granted this is only truly played out will in Prophesies, but nothing is perfect.
I understand there will be many people that will rip this all apart, but it won’t matter because it is true to me.
Why max level 20...?

But yeah I guess this is an 'old' topic. But the actualization is new to me. Neener, neener neener.
EDIT: As well I find it awesome that most are not even reading my original post!

I agree - the Level 20 cap is one of the main reasons I continue to play the game PvE-wise. Otherwise, I would've bailed for an exponentially expanding MMO like WoW long ago.
...and honestly, the level 20 cap is mandatory for PvE characters to play in PvP, which is one of the core strengths of Guild Wars.
