The most fun through and through
fieldsleeper
I would like to propose a question that i think is unique or less heard.
I would like to know the community's feelings on which class is the best for playing for ever, as in making one character you always did things with IE: titles, farming, missions. as in which is the most fun through and through. Post primaries or combos and a few reasons why.

I have the following primary characters playing PvE (in order of creation): Necro, Ele, Ranger, Monk, Mes, Rit, War, Derv. The one I 'would play forever' is my Ranger simply because she can play such totally different styles. Mostly she plays barrage/interrupter - a cookie cutter build but very, very, effective. Often, for fun, I send her out as a full-on Beastmaster, and then again sometimes I set her up as a dedicated trapper.Three totally different styles of playing and all great fun. She can also play as the much reviled touch ranger. Also, she looks great in her 15k Druid's armour!

Necro, NEcros can do anything.
Calen The Civl
I have to say ritualist. They can MM, lay spirits, heal, melee, b/p, chant spam, and much more. I am always changing what I am doing for each area. While not as effective as dedicated classes, no other class can be efficient in so many different jobs. They never really get old once you understand how the ritualist works.
Thom Bangalter
elementalists blow shit up.
VorianVader
The most fun I have playing is with either my Ranger or my Ritualist.
Xeeron
I have 5 PvE characters: Monk, warrior, ranger, Ritualist, Paragon.
Depending on my mood, I play a different one, but being forced to pick only one, I'd say the monk is most fun.
Monk: You get into parties easily. Or you can make your own party. Most people will follow a monk's leading. My monk is the only character I thoroughly enjoy PuGs on. I might be lucky, getting a good group and a good second healer, meaning I can lean back and relax. Or I might get stuck with a bad group. At least as a monk, I know I can still pull the party back from the brick of extinction. Joining a PuG group is like buying a lottery ticket: You never know what you will get.
Warrior: Most effective if you go with hero/hench groups. As a hero leader, you have to be at the front of your party, calling targets, so being a warrior comes handy. As does the fact that you dont have to kite and usually die last. Simple and effective.
Ranger: Best to get into all those special areas demanding trappers or B/P groups. In normal gameplay, it is barrage, barrage, barrage and no end. Dont even dare to tell your PuG that you are beastmaster or trapping.
Ritualist: Healer light. My character of choice if I am tired. You cant really pull back your group from a bad spot like a healer, but as long as the group is ok, this is the easy life: Cast recuperation, throw on the odd weapon of warding or two and sit back and have the monk deal with spikes. Works fine - most of the time.
Paragon: I usually get bored of this character quickly. Motivation just doesnt cut in compared to monks and ritualists and direct damage from spears is laughable compared with barrage rangers. So this character is eternally stuck on a command build going through anthem of flame and go for their eyes in endless circles. It works, but it gets boring very fast.

Ritualist, by far. I can do everything from soloing to spiking to healing based on my mood.

I'd have to say elementalists and rangers.
Elementalists can earth tank, Smite, nuke, pressure, and are awesome farmers.
Rangers just own PvE left and right, plus you can basically turn them into melee and go to town on casters. Both are really, really fun.

Assassins are fast. Assassins are formidable. Assassins are fun.
my APBoA Spiker for PvE still rips elite areas apart in the right hands, and is fun to play anywhere!

The character I enjoy the most is my monk. Because monking requires such careful attention it really draws you in. There is no one character I can play forever. I usually rotate every few weeks to another character, but the most frequently played character of mine has got to be my monk.
Bankai
Rangah.
-Beast master
-Trapper
-Interrupter (great to see all the dolyaks fall down)
-Barrage
-Thumper
-Touchah
Plus, you can get into most high end areas easily, because of b/p.
Also, pets are cool.
Though Monk is also a lot of fun. You can just cease to heal that wammo that is always in frenzy+healsig because he has mending as backup.

Absolute Destiny
I currently have 4 character slots: Warrior(/Necro), Elementalist(/Monk), Necromancer(/Monk), and Warrior(/Elementalist).
Guess which class is my fav?
My warriors have always been the most fun of my characters, mainly due to their survivability. I looove to explore, and it's good to know that I won't have to worry about spontaneously dying.
...plus, it's just fun to take right to the enemy. Right in the face.
That doesn't mean my spellcasters aren't fun too.
My elementalist specializes in Air magic, so enchantments and chain lightning and WHIRLWIND (lets my W/E get right in the middle of the fight and knock 'em down like bowling pins) galore.
My necro's a minion master. I need no human helpers. I need only a corpse and the fight is on!
