Whats your spear + shield combo?

I'm in the market for green spears / shields atm and am just wondering what you use in your builds?

I often use a heavily tactics-based build, so I'm looking at getting a Sunreach's Shield.

I use The Prayer Of The Forgotten and Shagu's Anthem on my paragon. I also have a few other spears,including the Darksong. Furious spears are what I favor due to the builds I use currently.

Finally got myself a Shrieking Spear, and I can't fathom using anything else. For a shield, I used the Command-based Forgotten shield.

I just picked up a req9 caommand diamond aegis..... its all I use now.... that along with my max gold crenellated spear with furious mod...

Depends greatly on my builds at the time...

When my paragon is setup for dmg dealing, using several adrenaline skills, i use a Furious/15^50 spear (Shrieking Spear) and a Command shield (collector shield, req9, +30hm, -5(20%) shield -or- Shagu's Anthem). This setup obviously allows maximum spear dmg, adrenaline gain, and since i often us Command in my dmg builds, shield fits too...

When my paragon is setup as group support, using energy reliant shouts/chants, i use a Furious/+5 energy spear (Prayer of the Forgotten) along with a Motivation shield (Wandalz's Refuge). This setup allows me to benefit from both adrenline gain and the extra +5 energy since paragon support may use both sources...

Any other build type, usually fits well with either equipment from either of the previous 2 setups.

I use the Prayer of the Forgotten, and a Diamond Aegis that I happened to find (my paragon was quite pleased with it's discovery).

moaix... is it command or motivation?

Vamp Spear, and Elemental Spear. No need for zealous with GFTE spam, furious is still pretty meh, and sundering sucks as much as ever. 15^50 as always, no reason not to. I have a +5e spear on swap incase Agressive Falls for some reason and I need some quick energy to get it running again.

Cruel 15^50 Nightmare Spear + 30 HP w Wandalz Refuge or Vabbian Bastion (9 Command).

Prayer of the Forgotten and Gingerbread Focus when energy needed.

Trying to get Shakor's firespear for the silencing mod (use w Awe methinks).

i use a W/P so i use a tactics skeleton shield with a -2 physical and +30 hp and i use Luluh's spear as it was the first spear i saw taht was being for sale for my kind of budget and it was 15^50 with a +30 so im cool wit that

I have 4 weapon combinations:

1. Prayer of the Forgotten and Shagu's Anthem (used for most command builds)
2. Shocking Spiraling Spear of Fortitude and Vabbian Defender of Fortutide (used for a motivation build incorporating Conjure Lightning)
3. Shocking Spiraling Spear of Fortitude and Briahn's Guidance (used for a command build incorporating Conjure Lightning)
4. Prayer of the Forgotten and a Aureate Aegis of Fortitude (used for a motivation build as P/E with Blazing Spear and Steam)

I also have a Darksong but...meh...not used that in a looong time.

I usually try to use +5 energy spears as most of my builds are not attack based...I tend to use more shouts and chants than attack skills...maybe only taking 2, sometimes 3, attack skills per build.

Onto my Aureate Aegis...it currently has a Armor +10 (vs Blunt Damage) on it...but I'd like to change this...I'm not seeing me taking much blunt damage in the game. What would it be best to change this to? I was considering Armor +10 (vs Slashing Damage) but not 100% sure. I want an Armor +10 (vs Something) mod on this one as I currently don't have a shield like that.

Still have to experiment with several spears before I make up my mind which one Id like to use. Im planning on using a ritualist focus instead of a shield

I use a Furious Suntouched Spear of Fortitude (best looking skin imo) and Shagu's Athem. Both are for Command and Leadership builds. I use an Aureate Aegis of Fortitude for motivation builds... I am still looking for a nice spear skin to match it up with my Aureate.

i use either courage of the forgotten or luhlu's spear and as for the sheild waldaz's refuge or shagu

and i have also noticed that with most of the enimies i face luhlu's spear does more dmg then courage

Command set-
Vampiric Brass Spear of Fortitude (15^50, 3/1, +30)
Reinforced Defender of Fortitude (+1 Command 20%, +30)

Motivation set-
Furious Brass Spear of Fortitude (+5, 10%, +30)
Aureate Aegis of Fortitude (+1 Motivation, +30)

I've found these 2 sets to be ideal... Love the +1 on the shields, since shout-spamming is key for any para build. Since paras are rarely targeted (except for perhaps melee ToF tanks), any other shield inscription is pretty wasteful. Oh, and black dye on these shield skins = sex.

The shields:

1. Iridescent Aegis of fortitude (command) -5/20 +30 (thanks to Celestial Beaver for this one).
2. Diamond Aeigis (motivation) which has the same mods as the other, but im hoping to get a +1 motivation mod for the shield at some point.

As for the spears:

1. Prayer of the Forgotten for non offensive builds.
2. Luluh's Spear for fighting anything with high physical defence or with a weakness to fire.
3. The Bloodspear for offensive builds.
