I don't want to sound stupid, but I just haven't heard anyone mention this: Will the Lunar Fortunes act exactly the same after the event? In other words, should I use them before the event is over or can I hold on to them for a while and still have the same chance to get those their items? (Pigs too)

Pah Pei (one of the Knight of Nian, during Respective quest) dropped Cho Wei's Axe for me. He is the warrior boss of the three. I suspect the others also drop greens.
Someone might want to farm these guys, since there are 3 respectively easy (non-max) bosses next to eachother.
Anyway, I got a screenshot to prove it, but I dont think it is neccecary, cos its not a big deal axe anyway.
The other bosses are ele and mesmer, and they prob drop their respective starter-green.

Curious to know what the Chefs are going to give if you get all the ingredients. Some of those things are kinda hard to get. Do you think it will be worth it to go out and hunt for all this stuff?

All the starter greens are listed on wiki, there is also fens focus that drops (monk smitting focus).

Hmm I think I was confused, one boss has a yellow warrior aura and uses warrior skills, he drops the warrior axe.
The other is having mesmer aura and using mesmer skills.
The third has ele aura BUT uses a bow and ranger skills. Wonder what she drops. Though, its undoubtly crap.

I attempted to test this with Ghial, but I died during the trip (quickly too--I solo this a lot and have never seen damage like I received last night....) Lack of patience prevented me from testing further...
I never had a green drop from Shing Jea bosses before, so this lead to my suspicions. (Too bad these greens are worthless)

I know this is a double post... but it doesn't count cause I have to talk about the celestial piggy now.

I just did one run outside of Yaks bend (take the right fork like you are doing a run to Lions Arch) and there are about 20 Ice Golems there. I farmed 3 Icy Loadstones (the equivelant of a dying person dropping a load in their pants?) in that one run alone.
I did the run fast by taking my Talkora and splitting her skills between healing and Minion Mastering...She did really well and with my Crab Pet and her minnions we cleared that right fork in no time at all. Be sure to go back where Rignot (i think that's the bosses name) is, there were 5-7 golems right there having a picnic

Got two piglets in one go, by switching to a district where the timer hasn't run out yet.
I hope the event gets extended for EU servers though - I've been getting error 040 for a while now, cannot get past the character selection screen.
I've been thinking of getting gw for my friends as gifts, but with all this server crap... I don't think I will.

Just had something very funny happen, a new dist opened and all of a sudden everyone joined and the event started, was a giant line of people running from middle of shinjae to the chefs, wish I'd got a screenshot.

I spent all day yesterday going around the continents getting the stuff - In the space of a few hours I'd farmed everything except about 3 items.

Profiding the chefs with an ingredient wil give you a Token.. atleast that is he did to me...
Also i'm missing the part about other city's.... or did i skip that.

As long as the chefs in the district get all the ingredients(doesn't have to be all from the same person), then everyone gets 16 gift bags, mask, and a mini pig.
