your event, your reward!

yo, heres the deal....i got a decent amount of items lying around
would like ya'all to voice out on events that you'd like to see and enjoy to win some good items..
first off, some important notes
1. im not representing gwg neither Anet
2. im thinking of doing 1v1 duels, 4v4 team fights, and/or trivia, bets even?....
3. ...but also, details on how to do it as well
- if 1000players sign up, hows it going to be arranged
- double accounts?
3. if possible i'd like to keep it simple
4. if possible i'd like people from the community to manage it (esp people with green and black names, no pun intended)...i wont have time.
5. if it works out, i'll be giving away somewhat a good amount of ingame items and prizes
6. im not quitting, just thought of throwing an event of somesort..

in game ones?

- trivia about any topic
- guessing game on the prize item (contestants need to guess skin, color, req and mods)
- scavenger hunts not too different from the Chefs' ones
- running contest from entrance to exit of an explorable area (bad this shuts off any non-running build)
- rock paper scissors, as seen in LA
- minipet races (somebody says they are already doing them)
- raffles, to do for example with collectables and/or crafting materials, need a random extraction system (dice roll?)
- (this would require a little help from ANet) make a man-sized goose game in town and have people play it rolling dice

The most creative screenshot?

Some kind of Scavenger hunt
Some kind of event that takes place across all three chapters
Maybe a tournament of PvP (Ladders and such and comes down to 1vs1)

I would like to see an event when people team, like 4 people in one team
and together they do speciell things

il try to explain:
lets say it is 4 teams of 4 people in each team competing
then there will be 4 different competitions
and each team need to choose which one in that team that gotta do one competetion

like the first competition, every team selects one member, and they gotta solve some clues, and when they have done it they, next member of the team gotta run from one location to another.

so that everyone in the team depends on how the other one does.

the only hard thing would be how to organize this, but if only like 50 teams would join, the competeions could be done in a few days, like the first 10 teams does it the first day and etc etc

i like the scavenger hunt idea. How about this? Enlist 10 contest coordinators.

Each coordinator goes to a different town somewhere on the 3 continents. Contestants have to find each person. When they find someone, that person then requests an item from the contestant. You then have to give the item to the coordinator (or go find it and give it.)

The event could run for several nights. The coordinator is available only for 2 hours. You have to find him in that time. If you don't you are eliminated. Survivors come back the next night to find the next coordinator.

Hmm, or better yet. Mix it up. Night 1 is find the person and give him a gift. The survivors come back for...
Night 2: 1v1 Pvp
Night 3: Speed Missions
Night 4: Find these 5 items and give to me
Night 5: Trivia

Just a thought. You can have some real fun with this.

In-game art contest, the pictures made by dropping items/single gold pieces on the ground, then viewing the completed picture from above.

I can't imagine what it would be judged on, but at least it could produce many amusing screenies...

imo scavenger hunts have been done to death and arnt particularly original. would be more fair on everyone than say an art contest as not everyone is artistic.

im not really sure what else there is to do. maybe some sort of event where people make bets or riddles.

My event, how about a guessing game of the stats of the items in your storage there.
I believe the clouded maul is req 8 15/-10 10/10 furious +30hp.

I vote for the best matching couples/ chars. Then again I am biased because I always match my girlfriend's character. =P

i've tidied up bits and pieces of the items..
herb has a point...but then again, thats the easiest way and painless way to do it....however photoshop wont be allowed...and the theme would be based on the most attractive SCREENSHOT, eg funniest, cool, best looking armor, etc etc
i'd like to get this done and over with...more opinions are appreciated...

im trying to avoid ig events now....cause of timezone diff etc..
