instead of new proffesions, how about we have new races.
how about dwarves, warriors using dwarven axes and shields, rangers using crossbows as normal bows are to big. paragons could use javelins instead of spears and dervishs use sickles instead of scythes. and assassins can only use kama because of there smaller stature, all magic proffesions can only use wands as they are the same to them as a two handed human weapon.
then theres the tengu, warriors using hollow swords and shields, rangers using normal bows, paragons using light(as in weight) spears and dervishs use hollow scythes. assassins use hollow daggers. tengu use hollow and light weapons because they are decended from birds and thus have no proper fingers.
you could possibly even have race restrictions, ie dwarves cannot be rangers because they are to short to use a bow, or paragon as they are to short to use a spear.
again with the tengu, they cannot be necromancers or elementalists because of there beliefs.
