Minion selection?

Just wondering, since minions don't appear in your party list is there a key to cycle through them for "Ease of Death Nova" etc. Also when trying to heal or kill one certain minion...Anyone?

No as far is i know you can only click on them.

Click on one. Or just use the skills and it'll affect the nearest one. Clicking is easier, though sometimes a pain.

yeah, people have wanted a way to select minions for awile now. I believe it was promised to come with factions, but it didnt.

lol the nearest one tends to be the one I don't want to select :P and clicking them while rotating the camera, selecting skills, and talking on teamspeak is just too fiddly....why can't they just be added like pets -_- I want a bone horror called Harold.

they should make a small menu that has the minions health and type on there. It allows you to click on it to target a minion.

That would solve a lot of problems

they used to have a window for minions it was the same as where your pets and such show up but they removed that feature. I think it was back when a good MM could have like 25 or more minions up at a time. Now that they capped it at 10 I think it wouldn't hurt to put that functionality back in.

And yes I'd like to see a minion menu back in, broken up into sections for different minions if you have them.

It's a real shame because the Golem obviously is a prime target for "Taste of Death". But I just don't use it because it's too much hassle to find the golem and click on him amidst the fighting mobs during combat. I haven't found a better way unfortunately yet.

As far as controlling when minions blow up, I've had good results with "Taste of Death"...although I forget which ones get targeted first. Heals you too!

Sometimes I just blow up a few at once in the enemies' faces then summon new minions with the fresh new corpses. I use the skill that summons 2 minions at once, so their "lifespans" are pretty short anyway. I probably won't be doing that so much when I get my flesh golem though!

I too, wish we had a more efficient way to select minions. In mid battle, there are just too many players/NPCs running across the screen, which makes it difficult to target a minion.

It has been suggested many times and I agree it would make life easier. But I would also like the menu to include controlled spirits for the ritualists.

Actually , if you don't specify a target for Death Nova it doesn't go on the nearest minion it goes on yourself. Lost count of how many times I accidently put Death Nova on myself

Also I think they should add some minion monitoring bars.
They where happy to cap the limit at 10 minions - nerf Jagged Bones , make the AI of minions useless for a while. Be nice to have something given back the other way
