considering that I had read a post something similar but is not the same. 
Did you play Darkstone ?
My idea is that you can take 1 character as a hero (no more because can break the dinamic of the game :P ) and in any area of the PvE game [maybe PvP also] you can switch to your other character
, yep as you do in the game Darkstone. Imagine , this can be very very handy, for example if you finished NF with 1 character as hero in your party, you can buy the armor for your 2 characters at once .Switching your characters can have a lot of good points in Farming, Rushing , Sharing Loot and also Leveling.
Is just an idea.
