Anet Friends list needs to be Fixed!!!!

I tried to add someone that I met in pre, but every time I tried it cut me off while I was typing in the name every time, and so I had to write the players name down on paper Anet please fix...

Did the names have 'r' in them, and do you have autorun keybound as 'r'?

I disconnect from the friend's server all the time, and have to input my password. It has an r in it, and frequently, when I pressed r while typing it in it caused me to autorun and switch off the password window, making the next key presses open up more windows.

I switched the keybind to ',' and now I'm having no problems with it.

Oddly, the running canceling my password entry only seemed to happen at some places, and could be temporarily ignored by walking up to a wall.

Unless your problem has nothing to do with the above; then disregard it.

They are aware of this and have had a post here for awhile now.

That thread may talk about the Guild List glitch, but it doesn't talk about the Friends List problem(s).

A problem that I had with the friends list is that people showed up online when they were offline, and it wouldn't let me add new people. I hope that Anet can look into both these problems, because to my knowledge these problems persist, and have yet to be fixed.

Speaking of friend's list, will the ignore list ever be expanded?

I experienced this glitch yesterday. Trying to type a name into the friends list and it kept cancelling what I was typing without entering it as a name. It seemed to coincide with people on my list logging on or off. No it had nothing to do with auto run, I have that disabled.

Figured it was my pc spazzing so I didn't report it.

my brother and i sometimes use the same computer and his freinds on his list somehow appeared in mine. i tried deleted some but it wount work. i had to restart my game in order for it to let me. weird....

The only glitch I get is when switching between my 2 accounts, for example: log off from account #1 and immediately log in account #2 and the friends list from account #1 will be merged with account #2 you'll see alot of ppl online but actually they're offline.



EDIT: To prevent this from happening wait a few mins before switching between accounts.

Bug 1: Account switch bug. When switching between accounts you will have a merged friendslist.

Solution: Log out after switch and log in again to get a normal friendslist

Bug 2: When adding people to the friendslist and someone on the friendslist logs off or on the focus on the friendslist is lost.

Result: the characters you type after this happens are not typed into the friendslist but are accepted for whatever shortcuts they stand for.

The last bug is annoying as you can do nothing about it except trying to enter the name again, and again, and again.

The Guild window bug is an entirely different bug.

ive had a more odd experience, i cant remove some people from my friends list, and those that i can, i dont get the add friend thing come up

Has happened to me too. Logged out of account 2 and into account 1 and it had names from both.
Strangely enough it's only account 1 that has the problem and it happens every time I log in. Pretty annoying.
