So say I made a macro/bot to spam /stuck...

...would that be against the ToS?

Because seriously, this rubberbanding **** is getting out of hand. I basically have to type /stuck and then spam up->enter->up->enter constantly while playing. So then the idea came to me, make a macro/bot type thing for it! Like I make it so I press say f12 to turn it on, and then it basically spam up->enter for me so I don't get rubberband **** anymore and then I press f12 again to turn it off if I need to type something.

So is it against the ToS? I'm pretty sure it is since all bots is against ToS but thats so retarded. ANet's obviously not going to do anything about this (or if they are, they're taking their time), so why shouldn't I be able to use my own solution for it...

So uh... discuss.... I guess?

Yep. Don't shoot the messenger.

(Rule of thumb: If you have to question it, it's probably bad.)

True. Still its so frustrating I could fix this rubberbanding **** with a simple macro yet I would risk getting my account banned because I made a solution to a problem anet doesn't want to fix...

Is it possible its your system or internet? I know most of my guildmates that have problems are either 1) running the game on laptops (which overheat and slow way down), or 2) running on a wireless internet connection. I'm sure there are "good" versions of both those. Just saying it might be something like that.

One thing you can try is to turn your graphics all the way down and make sure anti-aliasing is turned off. Not really more I can think of, though I'm definitely not the best person for advice in this area, more of a software guy myself.

I hope they ban someone for doing that, then we will finally have enough forum Drama for Anet to do something about the issue.

I'm running on a desktop that way surpasses gw reqs and a fast wired internet. I'm 100% sure this is a server-side problem since pretty much everyone I talk to gets it. Especially in Heroes Ascent relic runs...

hahaha. I don't want it to be me though. If anyone wants to "take one for the cause", let me know and I can make the macro and send to you~

Pretty sad that people are fixing anets problems for them TBH. Im sure Gaile Grey is too busy forming congo lines and looking for her hat to get anything done about the actual gameplay.

there was no rubberbanding prior to the release of Nightfall/Reconnects.

so your excuses are invalid.

Uhhh... you do know what Gaile's job is, right? She's the GM. She's the one that closes the communication barrier between the players and the designers. She's not the one that would be fixing this issue. It's part of her job to form conga lines and discuss stuff with players. Also, it's a weekend, so she wouldn't even be at work.
