Ok, simple issue,

Theres many people in game saying that the event is over, however, looking at guildwars.com the event should still be running, as it finishes at 20:00GMT tonight, ant its only 11:00 GMT now?

And according to the 1 visit every 3 hours thing, there should be a visit now?

So am I missing something, missreading the website, because i've been sat in Shing Jea for 30 mins (15 before and 15 after) event supposed to start at 11, and nothing has happened?

Any thoughts?

To me that implies that I should be sitting in the middle of an event right now?

No, the visits have finished (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Canthan_New_Year#Schedule) but they're leaving the festival up for a little longer so people can trade in their last lunar tokens and finish the quests.

Not to sound like one of those people who moan and cry for not getting their hat, but I think that the website was very poorely phrased on this one, I checked yesterday to make sure I could still get a hat today and was certain I could by the phrasing there.

Oh well, stupid me for not checking Wiki.

EDIT: Also it seems im not the only person who missread this, theres a fair few people in EU districs quoting the site saying 2000GMT as the last visit.

If you look at the description of the event on your log in screen, it says "12:01 AM" PST. That's the middle of the night.
