I've played through all three games several times with different characters, but I haven't until now wanted to make a ranger. My aim is to make a trapper ranger, most likely for the UW. My question is, which campaign would be best for me to start in for this?

From Experiance, if you want to make a long time charecter, the campain choice is simple;
Choose the one with the best looks you want, if you want a nice face and beard found only on nightfall rangers, take nightfall, if you want a face only from proph, make it in proph, in the end it doesn't realy matter, allthough generaly speaking proph takes alot longer to perfect, making it an actual challange

Always go for the best looks :P if it's a long-term charecter anyway

Ah, I never thought of that. Of course, I don't really care about how my character looks...Does anyone have any other suggestions for reasons?

The other thing is, what you really plan on using it for. Since you've already completed all 3 chapters on multiple characters you already know Factions will get you to where you want to be faster. If you do want to trap UW the skills will be primarily Prophesies, then possibly NF/Factions. The fastest route is Factions toon port over and buy skills (if unlocked) at Kamadan and LA and run yourself out to ToA. I'd just make sure to get 3 specific caps: [wiki]Echo[/wiki], [wiki]Spike Trap[/wiki] and [wiki]Famine[/wiki] and anything else on an as needed basis.

Good point. Factions it is, although its my least favorite of the games... Ah, well, onto making my ranger.
