Anyone notice this? Also when you try to enter the races it just maps you to your previous outpost. Anyone know what's up with that? Are they supposed to be permanent? O_o

And yet the records board had quarterly and even Monthly leaderboards, for a 4 day event? Does this mean we will be getting monthly festivals/events? or that it was planned to be a permanent game but dropped? Or did i just miss something all together here(which is possible

We already got a month long event, the Wintersday event.
As for the Beetle Record keeping showing monthly and quarterly results. It was most likely due to the fact they copied the code of the existing keepers to save time.

Very unlikely. Besides it better it doesn't stay. People would get bored of it. Besides now this gives us something to look forward to.

i think it would be sweet if they kept the minigame and mabey added some more tracks....have like a little racing game for when you get bored of other stuff

I agree after a while rollerbeatle racing on the same track got boring different tracks would of been nice. But since you dont get anymore lunar tokens what would the new reward be?

I think it's here for those in the top 100 to get their reward. Also, think about it from this perspective, some of us are already bored with Guild Wars. Imagine if the rollerbeetle race is here for good and we been playing over a year... wouldn't it get boring for us?
