I would consider any posts in this thread that are complaints as being off-topic, especially since there are plenty of threads complaining about how bad anet sucks/this event was terrible/I hate guildwars or whatever your opinion is. So if you have nothing to say, don't say it. Thank you.

I really like the fire cracker sound and the race was really fun.

I think I said this in a different thread, but I had a great time.

I did some quests with two characters, spent hours farming/donating ingredients and I even tried the rollerbeetle racing (didn't finish before it ended). Good job ANet.

I love to see these kinds of threads, I've seen so many negative threads for this event.
I had an amazing time, the beetle races were awsome. I farmed all the items (except unctuous remains) and that had to be the BEST part, I haven't been to RoF or the desert in AGES, I haven't thought so hard about a good build to solo farm or Hero farm so many varieties of monsters. People were nice to me in this event (that has to be a first ).

I was so relaxed when I raced (except the occasional swear when I got KD ), I knew before the event started I wouldn't get top 100 (50 at first) wich made it all the more enjoyable, because there was no worries on if I won or lost, it was for FUN.

GG Anet.

I have said it on another thread, but sometimes ANet needs the praize, so i'll say it again.

The event was great. It was good fun, had some real unexpected bonuses liek the mini-pig and i really enjoyed it.
It was even fun and easy enough that i even took part with some of my Cathan storage characters, one is now level 8!!!

Good job all around and hope this is the way of events to come, though to be honest i think i have enjoyed every seasonal/festive event ANet has done.

I too enjoyed this event immensely. I played a few games of beetle races (completely sucked at it, but had fun doing it), attended all but one or two of the pig visits, spent a huge amount of tokens playing rock paper scissors. Sure, I spent hours getting fortunes to get a mini pig, and still didn't get one after hundreds of them (though I saved over 250 to use slowly while playing through the game, with the blessings and such). But I had fun getting the tokens, and winning sugary blue drinks along with fortunes. And I got a mini pig by the end anyway. In fact, I got nine.

So, good job Anet! Keep doing exactly what you're doing, despite what the cynical people are saying, because it's perfect.

Thanks ANet. Had much fun. The Lion Masks were very well designed. Also had lots of fun playing Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Can we have South Park Rochambeau next time?

I really enjoyed the event, I think it's been one of the best ones we have had! The Rollerbeetle races were fantastic although the fact that people cheated the ladder is kinda sad, I personally don't think that it ruined the event like lots of people are stating. The Masks look really nice and the quests were pretty cool, especially the fact that there were some in Elona not just in Cantha! Overall a fantasitc event.

Special events like these are one of the highlights of the GW experience for me. It's obvious a great deal of effort goes into crafting them, and that is much appreciated. But I'm also very impressed with how members of the community step up during these events. Seeing guilds like DVDF and GS band together to farm all the ingredients so that more people can have mini-pigs is just awesome. So you end up with a great effort from both Anet and the community - the perfect combination.
