Not sure if this has been discussed here before, but I'm tossing up between getting a Fortitude or Defense mod for my weapon.
I've read before that increased AL is always present (except against life steal, degen and to a lesser extent, attacks that penetrate armour) as opposed to increased HP which loses a lot of effectiveness once the HP has been lost. In addition, Defense mods tend to be far cheaper to obtain. However, when it comes to the crunch, what would you pick?
As a related aside, would you prefer using Survivor or Dreadnought's Insignia on armour? The arguments are pretty much the same, although the AL bonus with Dreadnought armour only ever comes into effect if you get hit with elemental damage.
Health vs. Armour Mods?

LightningHell
Survivor insignia and Fortitude if you want to do PvP.

As above. Additionally carry shields with bonus armour against all kinds of damage to give you 76 w/o sacrificing any Health for armour.

Munch Well, I have a Exalted Aegis (Tactics) equipped at the moment, but what do you mean here?

There are shields that have +10 vs. fire and such. I assume that's what he's talking about.

PvE: Armour
PvP: Health
Think my PvE warrior runs around with 485 health, one superior, dreadnaught's insignias and +5 defense on weapon.
PvP warrior... what LightningHell said except I would consider a Clarity Rune. Also carry a blind reduction shield in your backpack in addtion to +30 health/+10 vs. xxx shields.
