Just wondering what skills the Guild Hall Skill Trainers have to purchase before I spend 100k on one.
Do they offer skills from all the different campaigns, just ones you've unlocked, the campaign your character is from, or what?

The only thing making the hall skill trainer useful is signets of capture. You can get those as soon as you have access to your guild hall, for nightfall and factions you can access your GH immediately but form prophecies, there's pre-searing
.

You can buy more skills just coming out of pre than you can from the skill trainer in the gh. Was thoroughly pissed when I bought him.
He does sell sig caps like no ones business though.... which is.... sad.

...but if you really want to talk about a waste of money: a weapon crafter who can't craft weapons :/

NPCs that I think are useful in a GH
Xunlei Agent
Merchant
Priest of Balthazar
Rare Material Trader
Crafting Material Trader
Dye Trader
Rune Trader
I think the first three are necessities. I would definitely get those. They will find the most use out of all of the NPCs. The last four are "luxuries" so you don't have to go to a town each time. They aren't in any way necessary, but if you want convenience, then you might consider them. I think the other GH NPCs are fairly pointless. About the only thing the Skill Trainer guy is good for is buying a Signet of Capture since all he carries is Core skills which 99% of them you will already have before getting to Lvl. 20. Definitely not worth the 100k

Edit: This just came to me.........does anybody actually use the henchman that are in the GH ???

Well, this information would have been useful to me before I went all out on my Guild Hall. *Sigh*
Quick Question though: Anyone know if they'll be updating the Skills NPC so that he will offer other campaign skills (if you own all three) because that would be most useful and make him worth all the gold I shoveled out for his lame behind.

Sadly no, doesn't matter if you have all 3 chapters, the guy just wouldn't update his shop :P Our guild went all out and brought everything, ha! suck be us!
And now the guy standing there doing nothing, so much for 100k!
I wish I could trick him to follow me into the dark walkway in our guildhall.
