icy dragon sword using ele - run possible?

Hi All,
Firstly let me apologize if this has been discussed previously but I did try and search for a thread on this and found nothing.

Is it possible to solo farm icy dragon swords using an ele class?

I would have thought so since you have great skills such as ward against elements etc.

Thoughts and suggestions are welcome!

Dunno if its been discussed. At a wild guess you'd need to be E/Me for Stoneflesh Aura and Mantra of Frost and you would definatly need Glyph of Concentration. But then you have the problem of actually reaching the cave. You can't really rely on Storm Djinns Haste. It'd get stripped instantly as you ran through an Avicara mob. As for the southern path, i dunno how heavy the Avicara presence is, but the Giants shouldn't cause a problem if you had Stoneflesh/Storms Djinns up.

You could probably just rely on things like Renewal Sliver Armour or Sandstorm to do the damage. I dunno how strong the reduction would be, but i would've thought you'd be taking 0 damage from everything the Imps could throw at you.

obsidian flesh
serpents quickness
storm chaser
stoneflesh aura
stone striker
--- (natural stride)
--- (sliver armor)
--- (trolls/crystal wave ... maybe)

that would be able to run you and kill ice imps...

Obsidian Flesh is a must for fighting Ice Imps, otherwise you'll be having nightmares about Maelstrom even if you've reduced all damage to 0. Serpent's Quickness lets you keep it up indefinitely.

Trylo's build is a good start for this. I'd suggest bringing Armor of Earth and Stone Daggers in the Natural Stride / Crystal Wave slots. Hopefully the Storm Chaser / Stone Striker combo will be enough energy for you. I don't think staying alive against the imps will be a problem, just killing them in a timely fashion.

And you can always take henchies for the run, using Charge, and other party speed boosters. Just flag at the end.

I expect you could just stand outside Ice Imp casting range, use Stoneflesh Aura to reduce their wandin to 0, and Shield of Judgement to kill.

they spam ice spear... no 'attacks'...

last time I was there they'r where troll in the cave with the imp's and I was tring to use the w/mes build and I kept geting interupted,so i died very quickly.It was my first time try to do it ,so it maybe just was me.I also use ele build to farm trolls and if u don't use Mist Form(Elite) you get the same result. Hope that helps some.
