Weapons in Towns

You have always been able to show off your expensive armor in towns and just recently you can now show off your mini pets, but what about your weapons.
My idea: You can see your equipted weapon(s) in towns and outposts

Upsides:
~People dont have to wait for cut scenes to show off their weps
~Trading would be much easier. Instead of having to show buyer skin outside and see if they like it, you could just show it to them in town.
~People might consider more about what weapon they have and buy more

Downsides:

Are there any?

If you haven't noticed:
- Armor skins have lesser resolution in town for all characters but you and NPCs.
- Only 20 pets can be show per District.
- Districts have limits on number of people.

Allowing all tose models to load will require districts to fit less people, so all the machines can run all those model.
My mahcine has the Recommended requirements and it already gets slow (under 15FPS) when there are big crowds in events.

I like the idea however, like Mithran said, it's a FPS killer. I've noticed a difference just with the addition of the pets.

Wouldnt displaying weapons intown be hostile?

Obviously im joking, but you get my point. Your inside a town, so holding a weapon in your hand doesnt really make much sense since your not at risk oe being attacked. So you disarm yourself.

But if it was to be done, the best way would to be able to holster your weapon on your side or your back (WoWish style). You can then atleast see what weapon their carrying, but it wont be equipped and concidered hostile.

But as the other posters stated. It would add to the amount of information which needed to be displayed in each district. It could effect lag.

You could how-ever just take them outside and show them off.
