The Mist

.....What?......Where the the hell am I and how did I get here?.....As I glance then look around I feel, "This looks familiar, but I have never been to any jungle." Then I notice five people with me, one on either side of me and three behind us, also standing side by side with about four feet between them. "Oh my god, they have weapons!" The man on my left has an axe and a shield. The one on my right has a sword and shield. The gal behind the one with the sword, is carrying a bow. Next to her is a baldheaded woman with a tattoo on her head. And on her left, some pale looking guy wearing a red outfit with a strange looking staff in his right hand. I now notice I have a big sword and a huge shield that looks kind of like a shell.

As I turn and look down the trail ahead of us, I began to hear a strange roar. Then I see them! These HUGE, ugly, blackish critters, Jungle Troll comes to mind, on two legs, running at us out of the trees. There must 15 or 20, and what are those four-legged, spider looking things? Some kind of scarab. I pointed my sword at the first creature in the mob, and the guys on either side of me took off running at it. An arrow went flying from over my right shoulder and a pink ball of some kind of energy flew from behind my left shoulder. All hit the same troll at the same time, and wth?! Yellow numbers with a minus sign in front of them, went flying up into the air! I swing my sword at the troll closest to me, and it took off running. I give chase and before I had a chance to think, there are spiders EVERYWHERE!!! They were spitting darts that explode with a green vapor on impact. The fighting and the roaring continued a short while. I glance around and see my companions are all dead. I feel myself growing weaker by the second, and that god foresaken roaring in my ears!!! I slowly fall to the ground.

"What..is....that......beautiful......misssst..... ..?"
