What are inscriptions where and how can i get them someone please let me know.....thanks.

Nightfall made some changes to the way items get their "magical" properties.
Before NF, a weapon had one "fixed" propery and could be upgraded with up to two additional properties, a prefix and a suffix. For example, you had an axe with +15% damage while health is over 50%, and you could add an axe haft and a handle. However, you couldn't change that 15%>50 property.
In NF, however, the previously built in property is now an inscription on a weapon. You can salvage the inscription and apply it to another item. In effect, NF weapons have an additional moddable slot. However, to maintain backward compatibility, inscribable weapons only drop in Nightfall.
Where to get inscribable weapons and inscriptions? Play nightfall and gather the drops. Blue and above will have inscriptions. Also, trade with players.
