Window Fonts and Firefox Prob
TheYellowKid
Thats my fonts atm
Some of the dialog box is fine, the yes / no etc is messed up and as you can see in utorrent its horrible, wasnt like this yes2day. tried restarting but to no avail.
First i noticed the prob was in firefox, the font had changed to something else so i added a user.css file and manually set the font, but now ive noticed maximising the program doesnt maximise properly and it instead goes down and to teh right a little bit like thats the extent of the screen
Any ideas on where to look for help? or any ideas on how to fix either of these probs.
Btw ive edited the fonts in the display properties section but the ugly bold font doesnt change

Xp or Vista? It likes like vista but could be XP with the Zune Desktop them.
Did you have any updates (windows or 3rd party?) update it self.
If it's vista, could it be related to this? http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:...ient=firefox-a
(srry for teh google cahce link, the oringal server was down at the time)
And Side Note FSN anime series is awesome.

lol spy skills ftw! yea its good jus finished watching it the other day
Nope its Windows XP with the Luna 4 Theme. All ive done in the last day is uninstall a program that i didnt like, but no idea if the problem was there before, i deleted all references to it in the registry now so that should be causing a prob.
If i knew what the link to the dialog font was in the registry i could try changing it there but theres a number of fonts and im not sure what ones what. I actually looked at that site earlier or a forum link with the same post but wasnt sure if any of the fonts being changed would make a diff

nope didnt work but thanx!
Ive found out the font its using is System, ive been trying to find some information buts its a real common word..
Also i tried replacing the fonts with those from another comp, had to go into safe mode to do it, and it replaced all but 5 fonts, but still the same.
I tried using a XP disc to repair but it doesnt see the windows install on my f drive so cant do that either. Really dont want to do another reinstall as i done that the other day.
Really stumped now cant think of anything else to try, tried changing the dpi size of the fonts, and after 2 reboots changing and changing back still the same probs.
Since i replaced those fonts my firefox fonts have gone back to normal so i deleted the userchrome file, so maybe the prob is in one of the files i couldnt replace, dont really see how i can replace them without going into a proper command prompt and not the safe mode version tho
edit: very strange.... i just checked to show someone and.. its fixed, so no idea what caused it or fixed it!!!
