PvE? PvP? A/Mo with healing prayers/prot prayers usually suck, FYI.
Neverending Silence
The only thing i ever see an A/Mo use thats monk related was rebirth in PvE
Laenavesse
that's one of the reasons why i went /Mo: to get rebirth xD
and usually i was smart enough to know when the party would wipe and run to the back and then res everyone...which is sort of ironic for a sin xD

I started A/Mo, but the rez was all I ended up using. These days I am pure assassin skills, except for No Attribute skills from secondaries.
Fully leveled up, you may find some builds that are worth taking points out of Assassin attributes, but leveling up I think most of the trick builds don't really work. Problem with most /Mo builds is that enchantments can be stripped.
General pieces of advice.
1. Get the best no-attrib longbow you can find. Max will be 9 to 11 probably. When henching, use this to pull or to start combat. If it looks like a difficult group, as soon as the arrow releases run back behind your warrior or warriors.
Let the hench warrior engage the target first and take the early shots from the enemy casters. Then go in with daggers on your chosen target. Never be the first in the party to dash in. Try not to be the first target for ele's and mesmers either. Get out at the first sign of danger, choose a new target, stay mobile.
2. Double clicking on a party members name in the party window will make your char run to them. If you have an archer in the party, they will generally stay back far enough to make running to them get you out of danger.
Friend of mine plays Dervish by the way. Good at it too. And the reason he is good at it is he tends to play his Dervish as if it were an Assassin!

The only combo ive found mildy worth using is Judges insight - Golden Phoenix. And it was really only good back when AB didnt have tons of anti melee and there were always 2-3 MM's on each team. ( Using judges insight you could kill a minion in 2 seconds, making it actually worthwhile, and alot of the necros had the -5 holy damage armor )
Now the only reason for A/mo seems to be for mending touch ( Superior to SoM ) and rebirth or some hard res for PvE.

Pure Sin except for Mending touch and rebirth. Im also playing around with the idea of scourge healing for a starter hex.

Well its no need to have monk speels anyway in the build lol.

My advice:
Choose Valkyrie armor for the extra HP.
Don't choose any rune which would have a HP penalty.
Get some +HP rune if you aren't with energy problems.
The reasoning is: As a sin, you rarely will have ofensive problems since almost all skills do high damage. The problem is surviving enough to use then. With high HP mobs are less prone to target you.
The HP isn't there to save you when you targeted, although this help, but to make you less of a target.
A last advice is to not be the first to engage.
