Soloing in Gloom?

I wanted to ask some opinions for those that solo Gloom like myself. I use Necro as my secondary class. I found that killing the Abyssals are probably the easiest in Gloom. They don't "Call to Torment" like the rest of the creatures in Gloom and that to me, makes them an easy target. What I want to do is be able to kill the 15 or so creatures that path along the fissure SW from your initial spawning location. Anyone have good build I could try that is good DPS w/o the use of enchants. I can get them down to about 20% but everytime I get them that low they Call to Torment and I am toast. I need somthing with finishing power. Thanks in advance.

Having not been there, I don't know if this works...However, they might be suceptible (did i spell that right?) to Lightbringers gaze. Assuming this is a 55 monk build, you could try symbol of wrath or balth aura for the aoe damage they provide.

Call to Torment is a stance they use. Cannot be interrupted, however they do take double damage when in that stance.

If Call to the Torment was a stance it wouldn't do them much good in general. It would be too easy to remove.

It's a skill, and can't be interrupted or removed at all.

And since they take double damage while using it, as JimHawking wrote, lightbringers gaze will do some heavy damage to foes using it, but I don't think it's enough to kill them. AoE skills might work, though, since the they don't move while using Call to the Torment.
