Realm of the gods

Like to start on discussion on the missing Realms of the god.

This is not:
-Posting ideas for the other realms
-A rant about the favor system being Broken

This is:
-To figure out why the 3 other realms have not been added by now.

So why has the other realm of the god have not been added, why dont we have a Dwayna, Melendru and Lyssa Realm.

Lore wise, those 3 gods dont need our help unlike Baltazar and Grenth which are both under assault by evil forces.

The Real Reasons, why did Anet not had the other realms.

So I can think of a few Reasons

1) Want to keep the realms for futur expension.
-A fairly good reasons, except its been almost two years, and In my opnion, the probably should have added a new realm by now.( a Sorrows furnace type update)

2)They have no idea how to designe the realms
-Highly unlikly, could call on the comunity to help design.

3)Have better thing to design then the Realms
-I can understand this, but again, a Sorrow furnace type update would just give a boost to the moral of the comunity, make us like them just that much.

So this is just a few reasons I can think why they would not had them, feel free to had more reasons.

So to Resum the whole thing.

-Discuss why the other god realm were not added.
-think of ay reasons why not too add them.
-A Offical Respnd from Anet would be nice

I guess they're saving it for a rainy day. The Domain of Anguish probably could've been a new realm if they had felt like using it as one.

Both FoW and UW probablly took a long time, if you have been through all or most of these areas you can see they have TONS of content, Quests, Monsters, NPCs, lore, FoW armor etc etc.
DoA was ALOT of Copy+Paste(Not what they did, but read on), many of the monsters are just renamed things from other parts of GW (Shadow Army, Margonites, Minion based designs in Stygian Veil etc etc.)

They set a goal for new expansions every 6-9 months, I'm going to have to go with #3 (the reason, not the comment) because Anet has proven to me they are very creative and would know how to design such realms. #1 could be a posibility if altered to say 1)Working on it along side new expansions, because with their goal for new expansions and the amount of content they would (I'm sure) like to put into these realms of the Gods, they could be working on them steadily along side other Chapters.

After rereading my post, some of it (to me) comes across as "STFU, stop baggering them for new Realms". Just want to say if that is what this post sounds like to you, I am not trying to come across that way.

I consider DoA the Realm of (now) Kormir. So that's 3/6.

If you access it from the god's avatar, its their realm.

how come u do not need the favor of the gods to access DoA?

...so long as they have Nightfall.

Why, exactly why they havent implemented the 'walk' function yet, and exactly why DoA wasn't ready with the release of nightfall. They're too busy with the whole 'next chapter' mindframe, in instead of going back and fixing things in previous chapters, they have the excuse 'it will be fixed next chapter'.

ALTHOUGH so far i think a-net are getting a hold of things. They may start paying attention to previous installments now, because it seems now their eyes are turned to Cantha. so right now, im becoming very pleased with how a-net is beginning to handle things

I asked Gaile about this during one of her visits. Her reply was that it could be something for the future but was not anything that was currently being worked on.

Kormir is not one of the Gods of Tyria.

A bit nitpicky, don'tcha think? So what, they're not the gods of Cantha or Elona, either... only Tyria? And Wiki is right, why?

Afaik, Gaile stated some time ago that Tyria, besides being the first continent, is also the name of the entire world of Guild Wars.

Hence the reason gods are worshipped in each chapter.

Your serious that was the name of the whole world is Tyria (so both a name of continent and the world)? Well there goes one of the questions I was thinking about asking.

Anyways I was basically thinking that it would be for a future expansion to the game, when there warrants a type of conflict in the other realms. So I say wait awhile.

I'd rather listen to wiki then make up a random thought myself.

Alright, makes sence.

Then maybe the favor only affects the 5 original Gods.

I'd also say, having essentially installed Kormir as a god, you sure as hell have her favor regardless

Wild shot in the dark here, but im going to go with...

...because they have been busy creating two new campaigns, starting a 3rd one, holiday events, fixing errors and bugs, nerfing skills, and generally improving the game.

At this exact time and space, we dont need new elite areas. Which is what these "god realms" would be. We already have FOW, UW, SF, DOA, and the two in factions. That is more then enough content to keep you busy for a long time.

But your proposing they take time out of their busy schedule to just muck together another 3 or 4 elite areas? Areas which wouldnt add any tramendious storyline, history or essence. Areas which would be purely hack and slash affairs, just like FOW and UW.

Or they could continue to focus on new campaigns which add whole new storylines, content, quests, missions, weapons, armor, etc etc etc!

I know which Id rather. They might add them later on, or as part of the new campaigns. But you asking alot from Anet when they have better things to do.

Plus if they rush out an elite area, then we end up with another ROT or DOA which is nothing more then an area filled with over-powered creatures, large numbers of mobs crambed into a small area, and some area effects added in for good taste. Again nothing more then a hack and slash affair.

The next realm of the gods is delayed because they are adding swimming mounts and sentient weapons that tell jokes.

I guess you dont really need the other realms just yet, maybe chapter 4 might introduce new armours and such that might be obtained in new realms.

I wonder what the realm of dwayna would be like anyway?
