Ok, well I'm a lvl 20 Warrior/monk that is sword based
My current armor is 1k Sunspear (I know not good but hey I'm new)
My shield is an Exalted Aegis (str) - friend gave it to me
I have the following runes:
Superior rune of absorption
Superior rune of swordsmanship
Minor rune of tactics
Minor rune of strength
Minor rune of Vigor
On all 5 pieces of my armor I have a brawlers insignia.
(I do have the +1 swordsmanship helm)
So my question is, what are some improvements I could do on my warrior's armor? I only have nightfall, and only about 7 platinum so nothing too pricy.
I'm going to wait on a sword for now because I will just get the forgotten sword at the end of the game.
Thanks for your time and help!

With 7k... you can buy a Victo's Blade. Best green sword in the game IMO. The Forgotten Sword really isn't too good... I'd rather take one of the elemental resistance shields with my book of secrets.
And on your armour... it's fine. Insignia preference depends on the build and what foes you will be fighting, Brawler's is a good general use insignia. I'd probably upgrade to Major vigor when you can - and money isn't too hard to come by in NF, what with the treasures and the like.

Ah yes, the victo's blade. The only thing that turns me off of it is that it has a -1 health so how hard is it to manage? I was thinking of getting that after I had a sundering sword (such as the forgotten sword) so I could have a fairly strong sword that I could switch too when I'm out of immediate combat, to avoid the -1 effect.
Thanks for your advice

managing is fairly easy. switch out to a different weapon, then switch back to vamp before you wail away at your target.
but then again, its your preference, if you want to switch or not. if not, then sundering would be the choice for you.
and as alex said, there are several chests throughout nightfall that will help you if ever you are short of a little gold.

I'd rerune and get +health or +energy armor tbh, because I don't like conditional +armors.
Also, I'm in favor of sundering.

I bought Victos for 3k in LA from someone.
Anyway, I currenly switch between Victos and Sskai's for any W/Mo build I am running. Both have been working great for me. Just capped Dragon Slash too, so even better.
Edit: I also got the forgotten sword so that I can sell it for 35-40k. That will allow you to buy armor and swords needed for any good PvE build.

There is also a sword collector early in Factions, if you can get or buy that. (the sword, not the game)

^ He only have Nightfall. I wouldn't go for a sword build if I were to be in your shoes, because you would be missing out two vital sword skills; [skill]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill] and [skill]Dragon Slash[/skill], which are only available in Factions. Axe would be a better alternatives since there are couple of great axe skills available for capture in Nightfall, and axes' related stuff tend to be cheaper than swords' always.
And try to go for a mixture of insignia such as Radiant+Dreadnought, if you going for all-round general purpose warrior.

well i do plan on buying factions soon, but what would be a good axe build, and a good axe?
btw should i have two armor sets, one with radiant, the other with dreadnought?
I looked at dreadnought, and it only had plus 10 vs elemental, but brawlers covers everything while you are attacking, so if I were to change I would get radiant or knight's
