New Profession next game?

Any ideas on the next professions on the next day, or even the name of the next game? I can't wait for it lol

You'll have to wait a while too.. Ch. 4 isn't coming out until the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2007.

I just heard from a friend in my guild that theres a rumor in the April 2007 issue of PC Gamer, that there will only be one expansion pack this yr. and not 2 a yr no more. This yrs expansion is only going to enhance all 3 games whatever that means. Other rumor is that anet is working on a GuildWars 2, a totally new game, and you can create these monuments in the other guild wars campaigns to bring over your character. I don't have my issue yet, I'm just going by what my friend said. These can be just false rumors who knows.

Those rumors have been circulating for a while now. Someone actually printing them in a magazine doesn't give them anymore credibility than they had before.

Magazines have a three month lead time. No way in hell they can ever be accurate. There hasn't been a sniff of any remotely credible information about the next campain, but hard mode has been hinted at. That should be an indication that the current campain(s) will be updated and the next one is still a long way in the future yet.

It wouldn't surprise me to see an Xmas release to capitalize ion the spending season and to let people get bored of the WoW expansion. There are also a few MMO's (ya ya, I know, save the comments) coming out this summer. Competition is good, direct competition isn't.

I highly doubt there will be a Guild Wars 2, its way too early.
The Enhancement pack is possible but I'd imagine if this happens they will release a new chapter shortly after/before.

I sincerely hope it comes sooner than that. I shudder to imagine what it would be like trying to get a preorder pack from a clueless sales clerk in the midst of the holiday shopping crowd >_< .

My 100% accurate information is based purely on my desires.

My local EB Games has staff that actually know video games. I've had no trouble getting preorders from them. They even bumped my preorders to CE's without any grief.

Alpha testing for the first two campaigns has been around five months in duration. I haven't heard any rumors of it starting for the next release yet. Internet rumors being what they are and all that.

Although a late summer release would get the attention of all the kids before heading back to school.

One will be overpowered for a while, the other will flat out suck and won't be an impact class in any situation.

doesn't matter what they do, this is how they will act in the guild wars world.

What about that ranger armour? ooh what's it called? Oh druids. oh well, idea out the window.

jees mid to late 2007 as a predicted release i was hoping theyd stick to the one every 6 months thing. O well, guess i have some more time to work on my titles ;D

Why do you want another chapter coming out so bad.. i mean, personally i cant keep up with all these "expands", chapters what ever you want to call them. And i don't want to keep on buying them, maybe i would if they gave you like 50 character slots (yes, like WoW), but it seems for 3 boxes you get like 4+2+2.... 8 slots and there would be like what? 8 or 10 professions which forces you to buy more slots, and that is lame.

But i guess thats what happens when you don't pay monthly fees; new game every 6 months.

uh you will always be short of two slots to making an rpg characer of each profession. You get two more character slots per expansion. only thing i can't keep up with is getting all my characeters through every campaign. so i've resorted to ditching my nec for now, but that still gives me my ele, war, ranger, mes, and derv to get through lol. I'll be thankful for the gap between now and the next expansion, PvE is almost a fulltime thing for me now, haven't been to RA and TA for a while since i got elona (plus spent time getting new sweet armors). No pressure on Anet from me =]
