Best hero combo for a survivor

Hi there!
Heroes are essential for players looking to get to tier3 of the survivor title. In most places, heroes are so powerful, PUGs are not needed anymore...

I've only played with some heroes and have not reached Vabbi in Elona. The 3 heroes I use most often are a prot monk [Talkhora], MM [Olias] and Zhed [Searing ele].

prot monk build
[skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Life Sheath[/skill][skill]Mend Ailment[/skill][skill]Remove Hex[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Resurrect[/skill]

I took only one monk and used a hench healer. Would healing be better if i took another hero monk? [skill=text]Light of Deliverance[/skill] looks good..
Also i'm wondering if protective spirit is useful since health is >500.

Zhed
[skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill][skill]Searing Flames[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Zhed does damage with decent energy management. I left some slots empty because Zhed will not use Searing so often then.

Olias
[skill]Animate Flesh Golem[/skill][skill]Animate Shambling Horror[/skill][skill]Animate Bone Fiend[/skill][skill]Taste of Death[/skill][skill]Blood of the Master[/skill][skill]Verata's Sacrifice[/skill][skill]Heal Area[/skill][skill]Death Nova[/skill]

I've only seen Olias maintain 10 minons a few times, mostly he can maintain 9.

Sometimes i add Jin insted of Olias when there are few dead bodies.
BM: 6
Expertise: 12+1
Marksman: 6+3+1
Wild: 10+1

[skill]Kindle Arrows[/skill][skill]Poison Arrow[/skill][skill]Distracting Shot[/skill][skill]Savage Shot[/skill][skill]Tiger's Fury[/skill][skill]Comfort Animal[/skill][skill]Charm Animal[/skill][skill]Call of Protection[/skill]

What builds or heroes are good for surviving? Some say a MM is a must, and 2 monks, some say interrupts and nuker ele.

What I use with my Legendary Survivor aspirant.

Dunkuro/Talkura
[skill]Zealous Benediction[/skill][skill]Gift of Health[/skill][skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Mend Condition[/skill][skill]Holy Veil[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Power Drain[/skill][skill]Leech Signet[/skill]

Having a res on a monk is very bad thing when you're trying to be a survivor - the last thing you want is for a heal to be missed because the ai was busy resing someone mid fight.

Souske/Zed
[skill]Searing Flames[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Power Drain[/skill][skill]Leech Signet[/skill][skill]Ether Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Since the nerf to SF's burn time and GG's recharge, I find he doesn't have enough energy without some serious energy management to back him up.

Olias/Master
[skill]Tainted Flesh[/skill][skill]Animate Bone Fiend[/skill][skill]Animate Bone Horror[/skill][skill]Blood of the Master[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Leech Signet[/skill][skill]Power Drain[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

The ai only needs 3 skills to effectively maintain 10 minions, adding more just confuses it. Verata's Sacrifice has been a dead skill for the last year, 10 seconds of regen every minute is pointless. Golem was never any good, even for a human user and the AI is particularly bad at deciding when to recast it.

I am going for tier 3 survivor. I'm at about 920,000XP now. It's not so much the heroes' builds which matter (so long as you don't give them really retarded builds), what matters more is the one thing I've been sure to keep in my mind the entire time: Know when you're overpowered. That is, if it looks like the enemy is too strong...they are...and you should just run away. This has saved my arse on so many occaisions.

The one hero which is nearly always on my list is Dunkoro, and yes, he always carries Light of Deliverance because he uses it so well. I've taken Olias (as MM) quite a bit and Sousuke. I'm also liking General Morgahn for his defensive & party heal capabilities. I sometimes take Master of Whispers as a blood Necro and give him Well of Power...that with the Ward of choice on Sousuke's skillbar works really well together (my sousuke is earth usually).

As for heroes I never stuck to the same 3...I never do...in my opinion there are many different heroes for a reason - so that you can mix and match depending on the situation.

Good luck with your title.

I wouldn't agree with that at all. Put a reusable res on every character...just disable it. I've had to flag my heroes away so often to make sure I have at least one that can rebirth my henchies safely...for some reason that character is often Sousuke. ...maybe he can just run faster...

Wouldn't it be more pragmatic to give them res sigs so you wouldn't need to run away and rebirth?

It has it's place in PvP but I never, ever take it in PvE...I only take a reusable res. My preferred method of getting survivor is, if everything goes wrong, run away and rebirth the team...then assault the enemy again. That usually works. Reason I don't like Res Sig is that it is a one-hit wonder skill...If you're overpowered I find it is more auspicious to flag everyone away and rebirth rather than have all hench use res signets only to have the "resurrectee" die again instantly.

I'm a little apprehensive about taking along an MM with my survivor hopefuls. I know they're abundantly powerful in the hands of the AI, but the thought of him dying and leaving a big, angry golem behind makes me cry inside.

When I plan on going for legendary survivor for my dervish. I intend to probably bring 2 monks and olias as MM.

I always use shambling horror, bone horror and jagged bones elite for minions. Then the rest is just random stuff, like energy management and interrupts. I find that why waste health sacrificing, when he can just keep casting jagged bones on his minions and let them die to get new ones.

Also, tahlkora usually can be either life sheath or zealous benediction protection monk, with reversal of fortune protective spirit etc. Dunkoro is usually my healer, mo/e for glyph of lesser energy and some useful heal spells but I change elite often. Sometimes word of healing or light of deliverance.

I forgot tahlkora also plays a mean restore condition monk in a pinch. Instant removal of conditions is good when theres a lot of them going around.
