How does Deathbringer strip Shadowform?
DarkCloudInc
I've been wondering how Debineh Deathbringer is able to strip Shadow Form when his only enchantment remover is Intimidating aura which requires the opponent to have more health than you + hitting the foe.
The rest of his skills as listed by wiki states that the remainder of his skills are melee and requires a hit to activate the actual skill effects.
I've been wondering this as I have came across shadow form assassins in alliance battles and wanted to strip them of their shadow form. I've used intimidating aura* and it doesn't seem to strip them of their shadow forms.
So, how is Debineh Deathbringer able to and not the player?

For 60 seconds, if you strike a foe who has less Health than you, that foe loses 1 Enchantment and Intimidating Aura ends.
you got it the wrong way around, foe needs less health, you have less health than him.
can't intimidate soemone greater than you.

Yes but shadow form makes all attacks miss....so he wouldn't be able to strike

Maybe it's not a physical attack?

Exactly, Tan Blademaster! There is two requirements explicitly stated in the if statement, "strikes" and "less health than you". Since it uses "and" in the if statement, it means that both conditions must be met in order to achieve the effect.
So how is Debineh Deathbringer able to achieve the "strikes" condition while the player has shadowform active in which makes all attacks miss?

Just did a test against Debineh Deathbringer. Why is it that Intimidating Aura combined with Chilling Victory goes through Shadow Form and strips it?

(Thinking if Shadow form only helps against physical attacks which would mean description is wrong on it).

I've tried hitting a Form'd assassin with attack skills and it fails. You just have to remember that bosses are hax by nature.

chilling victory triggers the AoE damage which then triggers intimidating aura to strip the enchant,it seems like a bug with chilling victory to me.

Chilling Victory just hits regardless aslong as you have less health than whoever uses it.
Its retarded, the exact same happens with Grenths Grasp (maybe Ebon Dust Aura too). Many times i've been crippled by Chilling Victory when using Natural Stride vs the Stygian Golems.

Chilling Victory counts as a hit (if he has more hp than you), thus triggers Intimidating Aura. I use it vs. shadow form scrubs in RA. Very nice glitch

Admittedly, this glitch adds balance by providing an additional means to countering Shadow Form.
Though, I might try the idea with ebon dust and grenth's grasp.
