Wind Lord

So lately ive been trying out alot of new builds for my dervish and have come to really like wind prayers, but there are very few builds i found that are centered around it, so i thought up this build:

Attributes:
-11 scythe mastery (10+1)
-16 wind prayers (12+1+3)
-8 earth prayers (7+1)
-5 mysticism (4+1)
Skills:
Grenths Fingers
Guiding hands
Mystic Regeneration
Zealous vow (elite)
Whirling Charge
Mystic Twister
Victorious Sweep
Dwaynas Touch

Notes:
Cast mystic regeneration then Zealous vow before rushing into battle, once you start attacking cast whirling charge to attack faster then after gaining energy cast grenths fingers and mystic twister for lots of damage, Victorious sweep is for a damage boost but could easily be replaced with a generic res or another wind enchant. Dwaynas touch is for fast healing if your healer is pinned down (with all your enchants it should heal 150)

Please Give me some advice on what to do better for this build, it is a test only atm but hopfully it works. Also if you help out with this build PLEASE keep it mostly wind prayers i have plenty of earth, scythe, and mysticism builds that work fine and i dont need anymore

seriously, wind prayers sucks alot. there really isnt anything remotely useful in there(except Z-vow). Without a buff, wind prayers will never see my skillbar.

Yes i agree with you, wind prayers do not do well without buffs, this is why about half the wind prayers ARE buffs. The skills i have in wind prayers in this build are all enchants or attacks and skills that use several enchants.

But as i said: i am just looking for a wind prayers build because im getting (almost) bored with the builds i currently have

I think he meant that unless ANet buffs (strengthens) the skills within Wind Prayers it'll always be fairly useless. Of course, this is speaking strictly from a PvE point of view. In PvP it has several vital skills.

Um... What Coloneh was saying was that the Wind Prayers line needs to be increased in strength - which I agree with. The only time I'd see Wind Prayers to be of any use at all is when I'm not /Mo and I need hex removal...

As for your build... It needs more attack skills. And a higher Scythe Mastery.
