Judging by the thread title youd probably think im asking for an ingame display of what time it is, but it isnt.
~What im asking is that when Guildwars has a weekend event (or any event for that matter) coming up, on the login menu it only lists what time the event starts in PST . Could it be so hard to include the EST, and GMT (and any others) times too? to benefit those of us that live in different parts of the world.
I mean i know where i live is roughly 8 hours ahead of PST, but could it not benefit those who are less knowledgable about time zones and the differences.
Time display.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, But didn't we have that before?
I remember something like an announcement like: 30 mins till blabla, 15 mins till blabla for some past event.
Although the description is a bit vague, Im quite positive I've seen it.
And they should do that for all events yes!
Display time for all zones would be a bit confusing I think just "untill" will be fine.
BTW: on www.guildwiki.org you can always find an up-to-date scedule for all timezones when an event is starting.

i know that i can find my time zones on wiki or the european GW site, but its having to load up the browser and search for it. I agree a countdown timer would be a beneficial alternative too.
But how confusing would it be to have say:
gamer weekend for example:
Gamer weekend.
Come join in the festivities this weekend in shing jea and the temple of balthazar, where you can take part in the dragon arena, rollerbeetle racing, and the shing jea boardwalk. dont miss out. event starts this Friday at:
-PST:12:00pm.
-EST:4:00pm.?
-GMT:8:00pm.
is it really that confusing?

It takes up too much space, thats all i can think of. Besides, do some quick math and you'll have your answer. I;m used to converting PST to GMT when i play on euro servers
