Can somebody help me with this?

I have a shield upgrade (+45hp in stance)


I have 3 shields.

Ghostly Shield (not correct name, looks ghostly tho)
Gold, Req 8 Strength, Mods: +43 hp in stance

Ornate Shield
Gold, Req 9 Tactics, Mods: -2 dmg in enchantment.

Exalted Aegis
Gold, Req 9 Strength, -2 dmg in stance

When i goto use my shield handle to upgrade on of these shields. It doesn't let me.

Can someone tell me why?

I'm guessing the shields you've posted aren't inscribable. This means the mods they have on them are permanent and irreplaceable. Only shields from Nightfall are inscribable with your upgrade.

It could be because those 3 shields aren't from nightfall and therefore are not upgradeable.

Is this the case only for shields.... or...... weps also?

shield upgrades are new. weapon upgrades have been around forever

Shield handles and focus cores were weapon upgrades that first appeared with NF. Thus ONLY shields and focus items can't be upgraded like that (shield handles aren't inscritions after all).

And of course you can upgrade prophecies weapons.
