6-28 Axe (with Damage +15% while stance, 15% while health above 50% or 15% while enchanted) a Zealous or Vampiric axe haft followed by a health bonus axe grip.
As a shield I personally prefer a peppermint or gingerbread shield (since those have 10 armor without any requirement). Any other shield will work though.

Rest in tactics
Armor:
Full Nightstalker Set with a Shadow arts max and a Superior Shadow arts rune.

How it works:
Now that you know the build its time to know how it works. Exit to Talus Chute from Droknar's Forge and Head to the hill to the west until you arrive at the troll cave, just before taking aggro cast Way of the assassin followed by critical eye followed by way of perfection and finally cast critical defenses. Now you're ready for action, Approach the group of trolls and wait till they group around you and here's where you use cyclone axe followed by executioner's strike and penetrating chop/blow. Keep doing this until all trolls are dead and then you can head to Krogg Shmush (the warrior boss) Takes a bit to kill him due to lack of axe mastery runes.
