Why does it say consecutive wins? Why is it that u cant just keep continuing, wouldn't it make victory points easier to get?

Becasue if the game didnt stop you from winning you would have one group that would pwn all the others and only they would get the points

Most likely what happened is Anet took the same victory graphic that they used for Random Arena and Team Arena and used it for the Hero Battles.
