Petition reguarding Original Preorder items

This petition is to suggest that Anet should make our original preorder items (Ithas Bow, and the others) more usable throughout the rest of the game. None of the stats are max and the req. is too high, even if the dmg were to stay where it is. I thought about buying the GOTY edition for 5$, but don't like the skin of the bow that I would use. I WANT MY ITHAS! Why should people who only recently started the game have better weapons than those of us who supported GW from the start?


NOW! Who says original preorder items should be adjusted to max/better stats?

You never get to see those items in use because of the stats, its a shame that Anet has wasted some really nice looking items and made them unplayable.

Actually, I noticed that they did change some of the reqs on these items (the bow in particular), but do agree that it would be nice for the stats to be bumped up a bit. The new item package available in the store (are they the Coke Play items?) are much more usable at level 20 and I almost use them exclusively now for my chars and heroes, but would also like to use those original pre-order focus items as well.

While we are on the subject, I would also like to see the pre-orders available in the store only for those regions who normally wouldn't have had access to those items (i.e. America having the Chimeric Prism, and Europe getting the five American items). The Prism is the only item I wasn't able to get.

ORIGINALLY, had the preorder items been made max, certain groups of whiny people would have done what they do best and complain about 'favoritism' and such, but now, since we can get max stat stuff easily in Factions and NF, and even ruined Ascalon, there's really no point in them NOT bumping up the stats on said Preorder items. At best, it's a waste of some nice skins, at worst, it's showing favoritism toward Factions/NF/GOTY.

Preporder and collectors are favoritism, becaase it's about people that trust Anet and GW, paying before getting the real thing.

It's logical that you reward someone that trust you more.

I was actually fine with the stats and the damage amounts of my ithas bow when I could ad upgrades to it. . . but about a half a year ago I broke it salvaging something off of it (which had never happened before) and since then the new ithas bows I have gotten cannot be upgraded


It was super sweet having a poisonous Ithas bow of fortitude. . . I just want that back

There not max, have high requirements, and by the time you can use them.. there a lot of stuff that is much better.
I agree about adding pre-order items in the store where you can buy the kits but still against buying anything from the CE editions on the online store.

never bought one with the weapon thingy, just got a stupid Varesh minipet. But yeah, I did look at the stats of those "special" weapons. And they're poopy.....
