GvG ladder will ever reset? anybody can confirm on that?

How do you calculate Guild Rank and Rating?

It will never reset.
If your guild wins a battle it wins a few rating points. How many depends on the rating of the opposing team. If you lose, you lose a few points.
Rank is determined by who has the highest rating.

Weren't they going to reset it one final time in a very near update or did I miss that already and I'm just oblivious?

They already did it back at the beginning of January

A new ratingsystem has been implemented and it's never going to be reset anymore. There will be automated tournaments in which you can gain a lot more rating.

It'll probably be reset once or twice for no reason though

and also how do you calculate the rating ? I know each win + rating. higher rank better rating etc...
but how do you exactly calculate for rating? anybody know?

I must have missed that update. I am usually on top of the news but it must have slipped under the radar. I remember all the talks and hoop-la, but never noticed they did it. I am pretty sure my guild hasn't done any GvGs in January and February (I would know since I am online every night) so if they reset it one last time shouldnt there a clean slate of a 1000 rating rather than what it is currently at (something like 990 or whatever..I can't remember). Or did they begin things based upon the rating before the "reset"

The solid confirmation that we have at this point is that the ladder will never reset. Everything else is hearsay, and most likely not true.
It's an ELO with a K rating of 5K. I think you can find it on wikipedia.
