Hey all. This isn't a revolutionary new build, but a spin off of the old w/mo troll farming builds. I got the idea during one of the testing weekends when they lowered the recharge of Shield of Regeneration. I asked myself, what would it take for a warrior to be able to use this skill which is a mix of healing breeze and doylack signet.

Here's what I eventually come up with:

[skill]Bonetti's Defense[/skill] [skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill] [skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill] [skill]Penetrating Blow[/skill] [skill]Shield of Regeneration[/skill] [skill]Vigorous Spirit[/skill] [skill]Live Vicariously[/skill] [skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill]

Stats
7 healing
1 smiting (for ade gain with balth's)
10 protection
1+1 strength (2% ap is better than none I think)
10+1+1 axe
9+1 tactics (for bonetti's)

equipment
For armor use either dreadnaughts, +hp, or +energy armor. Using an axe that has +20% enchantment length helps. In addiontion to a shield, you might want to have a second weapon set that has a prot offhand for emergency energy.

Use
The build works pretty much like the glad's defense troll farming builds, but you are a little more dependand on cyclone axe for damage. Use balth's and bonetti's to keep your energy up, vig spirit and live vic for spike healing when you use cyclone axe, and use SoR as you need to. Use cyclone axe as you can, and use bonetti's when you are coming under a lot of fire from melee or ranged attacks to give SoR a chance to heal you while you are waiting for CA to recharge; In theory you should have enough energy to recast SoR pretty quickly if there are a few melee attackers.

It also works on a similar principal to the 55 monks where you are dependant on increased defense and constant regen, but instead of greatly reducing your hp for prot spirit to work, you are augmenting your tank's already good armor. IMO it also works slightly better vs casters than the glad's defense builds because +al and regen is better than not being able to block spells.

Some variations:
For troll farming, the average hit does 0-3 damage on you so you might want to swap out live vicariously for something like shield stance. If you are fighting vermin outside of senji's corner bring balanced stance so you aren't being knocked down all the time. You can also farm in Nahpui District but if you see two star lights, run away because they will be able to outheal your damage. Also leave melee guys for last as they recharge your energy with bonetti's. You can also switch out an attack skill or maybe LV and bring along watch yourself for even more defensive, but be careful with dropping an attack skill because this build is already a little questionable on attack strength. If you can find room for where you are going, sprint might be suggestable to get where you are headed... LV should probably be the first thing you drop; I only have it on for dealing with enemies that do health degen as well as attack damage.

I still need to try this build in nightfall, and part of me wants to swtich my points in tactics to strength so I can use doylak as well for +70AL at times. The loss of 3 seconds of bonetti's might not be too bad if you use doylak right.

Weaknesses
Enchantment stripping and e-denial are your worst foes, but you can more easily deal with the latter. Losing SoR isn't too bad if you have the energy because it recharges pretty quickly. Interrupts usually aren't too bad because of the quick cast time, but when you are dealing with a lot of foes, knockdowns and interruptions will still happen from time to time.

Once you are down to few or no melee foes (and if you are smart you saved them for last) you need to be careful using SoR as you won't have you energy recharge as fast as could.

Meh, I just saw the words "For farming trolls" and didn't bother to read much more..

We don't need MORE troll farming builds, but i like your thinking.. This isn't a bad build, but i, personally, would probably take triple chop as my elite, load up a few enchantments + hb, cyclone axe, bring bonnetis, works fine..

But, like I said, good thinking, but I don't get why ppl waste time on trolls still, they aren't worth the time and effort...

Healing hands is a better option then shield of regeneration...or even VWK ..why spread your points out so far...go 8 in healing 16 in axe....rest in strength...bonnettis is only good for melee anyways...so your kinda limited on what you farm. Trolls are just so old school..lol.

If you two read the variations, you guys would know you can use this build in other areas. I also managed to kill some groups of jade army with this build.

Rain, I didn't choose HH as the elite for this build because it's only up for 10 seconds and you still have 15 seconds of no healing. And it was more of a seeing a change in the one skill and thinking, how could I make this in to a usable build for warriors?

Hehe, this reminds me of Griffon Farming way back in the day
