This may belong in site feedback.. but I'm guessing thats more for complaints/bugs than suggestions.
I suggest having a poll on every suggestion thread and deleting (not closing) any thread that has more /unsigns than /signs after three days of the thread's opening.
Pros:
1)Anet can actually use the thread to find decent suggestions and maybe sparingly (not once a month) give replies
2)the search function will have some use
3)Wasted space cut in maybe 10
Cons:
1)possible repetitions of repeated crappy threads.
2)Possible elimination of good ideas rejected by not very thoughtful people (3 days usually ends up with about 20 signs/unsigns so thats a fair distribution tho)
Suggestion for sardelacs threads

I like the idea, alot goes on here, so much so that I fear that GW suits don't see alot of the actual good ideas.
I think it's past due where all of the "Storage" threads get locked, and linked all in one sitcky, and any new ones get deleted by the forum mods unless they're vastly different from the multitudes of storage ideas already posted.
Same for Appearance/Stylist NPC threads.
Give those two their own sticky because the amount of conversation that happens in them is redundant to an extreme, but popular enough to stand on their own two feet, so to speak.

Well its doesn't necessarily have to be polls mind you: One could simply enforce that the OP keeps track of /signs and /notsigneds. A poll would just be easy is all

I posted an idea for polls. Did not work.
