Does anyone know where I could possibly go to conduct research (read about) how to defeat bosses in Prophecies?

For instance, I wanted to defeat Rotskale to obtain a particular weapon....but got my butt handed to me. LOL. I started at Temple of Ages and trekked to the 'mountain' that Rotskale resides on. The wraiths were easy...and the Shadows also.

But, when I attempted to aggro the group, I would get POUNDED and they wouldn't follow me to the bridge.

Anyways, if someone could point me to a tip sheet regarding bosses, that would be great.

Thanks!

Try the farming forum. Rotscale is one of the tougher bosses out there.

Ah, dear old Rottie. I spent many a long hour trying to defeat him (or is it her?) last year using henchies out from ToA, without success. Also tried a couple of times in PUG's, again without success.

Then came Nightfall and heroes. What a difference.

I have two GW accounts and two computers set up side-by-side. I set out from ToA with this team:
Main me: D/Mo (Heart of Holy Flame/Av of Balth - undead killer)
Acolyte Jin R/Mo (barrage/pet interrupter)
Olias N/Mo (MM)
Dunkoro Mo/Me (healer with WoH)
Second me: W/Mo (triple chop axe)
Acolyte Jin R/Mo (barrage/pet interrupter)
Koss W/Mo (triple chop axe)
Tahlkora Mo/Me (prot)

This proved to be a very effective team and we killed Rotscale no problem on the first attempt - got a Rotwing Bow too! By calling targets the whole team can concentrate firepower very effectively. Both monks were set up to avoid combat - I find this helps to keep them out of trouble.

Note: I don't recommend playing two characters at once, its tricky. I just mention it because it was the way I formed a team with maximum heroes.
