update to collectors additions from regular accounts

I would like to be able to accomplish is to be able to update my accounts to Collector additions with out having to start all over again with my characters. I know that because of the issues that Arena Net had with the collectors addition of Factions, I didn’t want to buy the Nightfall Collectors addition. I was afraid of not getting my copy soon enough. With that being said I wish that the on line store would allow us to be able to upgrade our accounts to the collectors additions by paying the difference between the two. I know that I would be willing to do this to all of my different chapters I didn’t have the collectors additions for. Which could mean more income for Anet.

Collector's edition is collector's for a reason. It's not for any old person to come along and want, it's for those dedicated enough to pay extra money for all the extras. Also, they're supposed to be limited, so if you could just buy them off the online store, then it's kind of pointless.

If you wanna upgrade to collector's, you're just gonna have to go out and buy one from the store and add the key to your current account.

the point I am trying to make is that this would cost me roughly 150.00 to add these keys to all of my chapters. which is a little crazy. but I would be willing to pay 40.00 to upgrade all of my chapters. I realize that collectors additions come out so they can be unique. as well as limited. but I really don't see why this option isn't avalible already through the on line store. that was my only point.

This has been requested before, and it aint gonna happen.

As Meat Axe said, the CE is there for the players who are willing to pay the lil bit extra for the goodies you get, making it available in the Online Store just defies the point of it being the CE.
