Perma autorun command ?
TheRedDragon
Hi all
I am starting to work on maping the zones and I was wondering if their is any
perma autorun command ?
I am looking for a way to not have to keep hitting the aurto run every time I run into a wall or chest etc. So as I map all I have to do is drive my charcter along the zones edge.
Thanks in advance.

not stopping at all is a bad way to map... take your time, walk, make sure you scrape every area,, search for a cartgraphers guide somewhere on guru to help you

And if you are desperate...
you'll need:
1 square object thingy, which you'll place on your run forward key
2 heavy thing to key the key pressed all the time

Just tap the forward key twice. I use the arrow keys.

Read his post.
He knows you can use auto-run. However, he's wondering if there's a way to get around having to change things when you run into a wall/chest.

Hold right click, then click/hold left click on mouse. Now just guide ur char with with ur mouse. Thats what i do...
Then i can just sit back and relaxe with both mouse buttons pressed. No keyboard needed, i can just smash my char into the walls and keep em walkin!
cheers.

If you're trying to map for title, then autorun won't get you far, especially if you're trying to do it semi-afk.
The only way to get all the 0.1% is to hit auto-run, then use keyboard to manually hug every single corner. Preferably twice. Chests are the least of your concern, since they'll never be at the edge of the map.
But no, there's no auto run, there's only walk toggle, which acts the same way as holding down forward movement key.

Dont know if its legal, but what about macros? Could you set a macro on say, the G15 keyboard to autorun all the time?
Even so, i think you would get stuck, and its much easier to do it slowly, rather than rushing.

the g15 will spam the autorun button but every time it starts running the nexr time it uses the key it stops you lol

pressing forward twice or pressing R makes autorun but yeah i personaly wouldnt reccommend using it for afk exploring as you may miss small sections or get stuck

Hi all I finally got it down to easy mode!
Simple hit start, control pannel, printer and other hardwear, Mouse,
Click the buttons lock option!
Ok in guild wars all you need to do hold down both left and right buttons to run and not stop and steer as well
This is not for afking at all I was simple looking for a way to save my hands form hurting after hours of playing.
When a fight comes up simply click the left and right mouse buttons and fight and loot as normal. Then turn them back on
I use an intelli mouse optical but it will work with any mouse that can use botton lock.
