I'm not sure I understand your questions, but here goes. You don't need to save your game it automatically saves whenever you logoff. If you mean saving your game out in the open and then being able to load it when you die- this is just not possible when other players are involved. Also, in guild wars this wouldn't really be all that much help. I've actually never heard of a save feature in a an mmorpg. Henchmen don't exist in pre-searing, the early tutorial phase of prophecies. Later they will be in every town waiting for you by the exits. As for logging in, this is necessary becasue your characters are saved server-side. What this means is that your characters are not saved anywhere on your computer, but on the Anet server that everyone plays on. You can access your players on any computer this way.

Guild Wars automatically saves itself. If you go into an explorable area and you pick up a gold item, for example, then you close Guild Wars by accident, you should find yourself back in the last town you started from, and that the gold item is still in your inventory.

You can't find a henchman? If you mean you can't get henchmen in your party you don't talk to them to do this. You click on their name, and click the "+" button in the party window...this should add a henchman to your party.

I'm guessing you log in because it is an online game and logging in allows the game to access your "saved character locations" or some such thing. I don't question it...it just happens. Best not to worry about it eh? Logging in is hardly much of an issue... As Xavier says, this allows you to go onto any PC Guild Wars is installed on and be able to play with any of your characters.

You do not need to save the game because it automatically saves the game a few times per second. That is if you are connected. If you get disconnected, your character will not move as your game on your computer is only a client. It does not have the function to allow you to play without being connected. Its the way of MMORPG.

As the previous user said, henchman can be added by pressing P and under the henchman tab.

I am guessing that you have to log in because the character data is not on your computer but on the Anet. This helps prevent hacks, editors etc.

Not a big percentage of people wants to talk, or help new players. That is why the henchman are there in the first place.

If you need any help in game, you can pm me.

You have to login because every relevant data concerning your characters, items etc. is stored on Anet's servers. The only thing stored on your hard drive is areas and other things that don't affect your character and build templates. MMOs usually get the important data stored on the servers, mainly to prevent hacks but also to prevent accidental loss of critical data on your end.

As for finding henchmen, press P, select the henchmen tab and choose the ones you want. If there are no henchmen, only way this could happen is in pre-searing in prophecies, you'll have access to them as soon as you leave pre-searing. Also about everything can be soloed on pre-searing except a small number of quests like across the wall or adventure with an ally. Just advertise you need help for those, someone who also needs it will probably come and help you.

That's because those are real people, you have to talk to them and actually ask them if they want to come with you BEFORE you invite them to your party or they will reject the invititation. It doesn't say they're in your party it just says the invitation is pending, the name vanishes because they reject the invitation. Most people don't like joining people's groups who just randomly come up to them.

If you see a red health bar behind the player's name in your party list, then that person has received your invitation and has decided to accept. If you only see the name but a kind of transparent bar that looks black because of the party window behind it, then they have your invitation but have not accepted or rejected it. If you have the transparent bar thingy behinid their name and their name vanished, they rejected the invitation.

Also, please ask people before inviting people into your parties. I hate it when I've got to do this and that, and somebody requests me to join. I have to reject and continue what I'm doing, but it makes me feel bad
