Ehm, is this normal?

My Kepkhet's Refuge looks weird. If you see the screen you know what i mean. It's black/grey instead of white. Does anyone here got a Kepkhet's Refuge with the same weird collor? And does anyone know if this was a bug or something since i don't like this collor...

Well, I've never had Kephket's weapon so I don't know what's "normal looking", but here's the obvious question:

How did you obtain this weapon? Did you kill the Queen and snatch it from her carcass or did you instead buy it from another player? If you bought it, then it's possible that the player dyed it before you got it.

That could possibly be the case with just about any other weapon, but Kepkhet's Refuge is a green and, therefore, cannot be dyed.

Mine is the same colour as wiki's image. Maybe Kehkhet dyed it again after the update?

LOL, I'm still learning something new each day. I knew Green's couldn't be modded, but I didn't realize they couldn't be dyed as well.

I think it's possible that ANet changed the brightness and tint of some of their color on some greens. I saw a thread a while back about Strongroot's Shelter having two versions, a later version having a darker shade of green than the original. Something similar could have happened here, although exactly what it could be is beyond me.

I used to have two Forgotten Fans (from The Falls area) that were slightly different shades. They dropped during the same week, but one was darker and even looked a bit more tattered than the other.

That was my thought but when i tried it i couldn't dye it...

The only green that can be dyed to my knowledge is the straw effigy froom factions (and they rock when dyed lol) maybe it's a change, how long have you had it? Personally, I like the darker color with your armor (nice teal btw) but that's just my 2 cents.

I've had mine since the first few minutes after the weapon was added and mine has always been a lighter color. Does perhaps when the weapon was aquired have to do with it?

Mines also lighter, im sure it has something to do with the time that the weapon dropped from the boss. It must be. Although the new one looks quite nice with the darker colour.

How bout where you stand when you take the screenshot?

I know my cape sometimes turns different colors when I am standing next to something dark or light.

i've tried it in alot of cities, in explorables and i traded it to guildies and everywhere it looked the same. That stupid grey collor...

Wasn't there a time where you could dye green weapons? when they just came out?

Mine changed color also. I noticed it like 2 weeks ago. Mine has a dark color to it now which used to be white. I've had mine for months and months..I forget how long. I have probably 10 on heros but havent checked the others. At least the servers are still running!
