P/R pressure build revised

I thought I would repost this build as I have gotten questions on it and have changed some things around...

type: degen pressure for most pvp (and some pve)

spear: 16
beast: 12

[card]heket's rampage[/card] [card]poisonous bite[/card] [card]barbed spear[/card] [card]blazing spear[/card] [card]merciless spear[/card] [card]heal as one[/card] [card]charm animal[/card] [card]resurrection signet[/card]

notes:
~this build takes advantage of the excellent dps of the level 16 spear, as well as the added pressure from a level 12 pet, and the degen of both bleeding and poison at cheap costs....

~the elite skill (not really a build centered around the elite) is heal as one, eliminating the need for comfort animal and leader's comfort giving a decent 120+hp heal.

~some variations I have found useful...

[card]tiger's fury[/card] nice to have an IAS for use through skills... but as this is not really a spike build I tend to miss the 33% attack speed and cost of hecket's

[card]disrupting throw[/card] useful replacement for merciless...if you know that a teammate (or two) will be taking a DW skill

[card]stunning strike[/card] for those who dont like the pet heal you can lower the beast mastery and invest in another line and take a different elite like this one... (useful in AB especially)



try it out... when you have the pet on your target and IAS on your spears, the target goes down quick....

interesting build, I like it a lot!

I'd like to see a dps calculation (or at least how you use it), because with heket's, it seems kind of tricky. But I agree that it is definitely better, because you'd need a zealous with TF.

Also, what kind of shield do you use? Assuming you don't want to divert points to command or motivation, you'd probably use a 0 q, right? what's the highest armor 0 q u can get?

well even if you used a max sheild (exalted aegis for instance is what I use with this) you get 8 armour instead of 16 and still benefit from the. -5/20% and 30hp ... so the downside is really only 8 armour.

heckets is pretty tricky... but its also very spammable...I usually start out with hecket's to gain adrenaline for a few seconds then use poison and bleed then heckets again until the last two skills are charged... the dps is really nice since you have 16 spear and your pet is at 12....

why hot use signet of return instead of the hard rez

I originally started this build for pvp... but you can switch the last skill for whatever the situation demands.
