I agree it is odd, but short of a party to the transaction complaining, we are not in the business of dictating prices.

Let us talk a second about scam. References suggest that a scam is "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation". The price alone is not a scam. Rather, a false or misleading representation or a deliberate act to the disadvantage of a trading partner fall into that category.

When I am saying that we are not in the business of policing prices, what I mean is that sellers are free to set any price they want as long as they do so in an honest manner. It is up to potential buyers to determine if they wish to pay that price.

On a side note, that buyer and bidder got banned for being the same user.
