Inscribed Shards????

Are inscribed shards worth anything? I have 3 of them from nightfall, but I dont know if these are used for armor or something like regular fow shards are.

Well you need 10 of them to complete a quest and I think there is a collector for them somewhere but otherwise there's nothing special about them.

Yeah; I hate that quest btw...

I save them as I go, so I can have 10 hopefully ready for my next character to get to Bone Palace

farming them is NO fun......

I've taken 4 characters through that area and I only have 8 of 10 required..

if you *must* farm them (again this is NO fun at all), head straight west out of Bone Palace. There's a wurm spoor straight ahead, maybe a third of the time there's a mandragor group that will pop as you hit the spoor. If you can make it, there are about 6 graven monoliths for you to solo right ahead. You'll die a few times but this is about as convenient as it gets, other than just saving them as you go

Quest? Completed Nfall, and i dont recall having to do this quest.

I'm still trying to complete it with my Tyrian ranger *sigh* 7/10 shards and not a sniff of another for months...

what does the quest do then?. gives u better armor for ur chars or jsut exp?

I find these all the time when I go adventuring in the Domain of Secrets to get Lightbringer points. If any of yous need em, let me know. I just used a few last night at a collector (There's one north of the Bone Palace that gives a real neat 15>50 Suntouched Spear) but I think I might have one or two left at the moment and I do find them at a pretty decent rate. They're free of course.

the dumb shards toook it with my first character thru.....got 2 the whole time.....2nd character comes along, and I said I wouldnt take the quest, but did cause I forgot -----well 2nd character got enough for the 1st to finish it, but not enough for her to finish it 3/10 oh well, will remember to NOT take it again (my 3rd character didnt take it---and got 2 shards for the others).....but I will remember to not take it with the rest of my toons!

cosy, you can always abandon the quest

but if you are anal like me and do every other quest in the desolation, and some in realm of tormed, you'll find 10 per toon easy. Also, grabbing the free chests across torment and deso nets a few too.

could never do a thing like that....no, no, no, once you have taken it you MUST do it (or keep it around forever---like the dumb festival quests that dont seem to have gone with the end of the events this time-----).
I cant seem to abandon quests...just cant seem to hit that button.....never have abandoned any to date. And yeah, hoping that my other toons will get enough for the ones who have the quest already.
