New Class: Blade Master

This new concept class is like a warrior/monk, exept it uses a two handed sword and has larger armor (like insted of 1 chain mail he'll be wearing two or soemthing). His sword will do double the max sword will do and can also use Halberd/Pikes, which are also two handed. It will have lots of healing and alot of team work shouts, plus have alot of health (warrior: 500 Blade Master : 750),
but only 75 armor level, even with double sized armor looks.

sounds like thats a kind of cheap profession...have more health...attack/heal/shouts with the choice of a secondary after?

The only thing new about this class is adding broken features with no originality. A warrior with bigger armor, bigger weapons and healing, gee, genious, lets all stop trying now............

Definatly No, a class that would dominate soloing like the AO adventurer class does is definatly bad, we already hate the buggers as it is; unless you happen to have one as your main, then you rock in PvP and PvE with the same overpowered build and love them for it.

But I am a MP and I say the Love Child Balance Problem should not be repeated especially not in GW which is more PvP focused.

I think they butchered the earlier professions, especially warrior.(not talking about skills , but attributes and appearance in general)

Maybe not so much butchered, but backed into a corner by vagueness, I mean really, warrior is a label applicable to about anything, and they give him 3 weapon attributes, which severely limits what future melee characters can begin to do. Almost like Warrior was the last thing made, as they filled it all with casters, figured they'd make up for lack of choices with all that crap.

I think a Blade master could be a good CCC (Class Concept Challenge) topic. Granted I don't really care too much about them, but would be interesting (and hard) to come up with a non-warrior clone version of such class.

But besides that I think Anet is deliberatly not putting in 2handed swords and axes.
At first we have the warrior with a hammer, which is a completly unused weapon is actual history but in GW does a good job of taking over the heavy weaponary part.
Then after we werent satesfied with that, and asked for a heavy weapons user again and again, we got the dervish.
The dervish ahd the elemental enchantments for changing damage type, a 2 handed weapon capable of big damge and slower than a sword just like we asked for!
I think Anet deliberatly is not putting in claymores as they might have somthing planned for them in the 10th expantion or whatever.
Just like we are finding hints of Gwen here and there, she is likely planned to make a reappereance later on
(I think she would make a great feral hero, as age doesn't matter when spirits give you your strenght/wisdom)

Or they may just be trying to be different and not put claymores in... ever!
