Error 13...AGAIN

I can log in, try to get onto a character, and i get error 13.

Nice to see someone freaking out again. Cut ANet a break, to be honest their servers are better than many other online games I've heard about. Dont be so harsh because the matter isnt resolved within SECONDS! Precious seconds without GW! =/

It would seem that each time anet do a special weekend i get lag, i get kicked out, error 13 & all kinds of buggy bs.

anet plz DONT do these weekends if you can stop the apparent bugs that come with them

Euro servers seem a little unstable the last few weeks (probably during peak hours), but A-net has them up reasonably fast most of the time.

Seems I'm back in game.

At least they fixed it fast.

Hopefully these have been because they are updating the servers to be UBERLY AMAZING and never down again...

.. That will be the day. Shame they get shot down in flames within minutes though, considering they are up 24/7 with virtually no problems the rest of the time. ;P

I'll say this, if this really is resolved then fair play & well done for sorting it so quickly this time b ut commmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm on eh? and if aint the special weekends doing it then please at least tell us why it happens.

Mine was fixed within minutes, as was everyone elses. I think it was an overeaction on your part, and no im not trying to be smart or am I picking a fight, but I've paid for this game, & so has everyone else. But theres no need for the language when its generally a reliable system.

And we euro players dont need to see some (other continent) players saying to us not to freak out, as we are always the ones who suffers from these sh*tty problems (i cant even remember this kind of sh*t happening to USA servers). Anet has some SERIOUS problems on their euro servers and they fail to fix it because the same sh*t comes back over and over again!!!!!

Ten minutes out of your day is of course the end of the world. Also, there's no possible way that the shitty infrastructure that most of Europe has could possibly be to blame. Nooooooooo, it must be all Anets fault every time.

This sh*t is always happening during events or after updates...

And in Some cases it affects European players, that have an infrastructure that does not guarantee speeds or bandwidth to its clients on any Tier of service to my knowledge. At least most of the guys I have talked with in European areas tell me so, I am sure there are a few providers out there that try their best.

People should really select the region they live in when they play a games like this. Players that connect outside of their region increase strain on systems that are already having problems.

If you are in a different region, then before you go jumping and screaming, not everyone and their mother is experiencing the problem, which usually indicates something special about your case, if its not local on the machine, it could be in route and out of the control of both service providers. That is to say outside the control of both your ISP and Arena Net. Keep in mind there are a number of providers who will use proxies and shape bandwidth without telling you about it at all. Proxies can interfere with traffic that is outside the bonds of visiting a website and well of course traffic shaping or QOS can greatly affect the real speeds and transfer rates you are getting out side the bonds of browsing the web or Talking on the phone if you have VOIP.

I personally have had one error 7 in, well its about 2 years now, 22 months. Event or not, update or not.

I dont really see the relation with the error 13 messages... a "bad" infrastructure may be the reason for the lags lately (pings vary from 10 to 3000). But with an error 13 there is no connection to a server possible... logging in works like a charm, but as soon as you select your char and you want to play, then there is this %^#^!%# error13 again... i am no nerd, but afaik that just means there is a problem with the server. And afaik that has no relation with a "bad" infrastructure...

Btw, before the release of factions i hardly had any problems at all... and back then the euro infrastructure was even worse than it is now.

So all i can do now is blaming all those USA players moving to the Euro district (because we have the favor most of the time)
